The Addmotor Greattan D is a cargo electric trike distinguished by its manufacturer-listed 7-inch-wide rear tire. Addmotor also lists a 750W rear-drive motor, a 20 mph top speed, single- or dual-battery configurations, and a payload described as 350+150 lb. Those are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results.

What makes the Greattan D’s tires unusual?

Addmotor identifies the Greattan D as a 7-inch fat-tire cargo trike. In a blog post dated January 29, 2026, the company gives the tire sizes as 24 x 4 inches at the front and 19 x 7 inches at the rear. The 7-inch measurement refers to the rear tire’s width; it is not the diameter. Addmotor’s claim that the tires offer grip and smooth control is promotional copy, not an independently verified handling finding.

What are the listed motor, battery and payload specifications?

Item Addmotor’s stated specification
Motor 750W rear-drive motor, listed on Addmotor’s product page in 2026
Top speed 20 mph, as listed by Addmotor; not an independent speed test
Battery 48V 20Ah; buyers can select single- or dual-battery versions, according to Addmotor’s product page
Payload 350+150 lb on the product page in 2026; its FAQ describes a 500 lb maximum. Addmotor’s January 2026 blog also states 500 lb
Rear rack 29.5 x 17.3 x 4.1 inches, according to the product-page FAQ

The product page’s “350+150 lb” wording is not fully explained in the available listing. Although its FAQ calls the maximum 500 lb, confirm how Addmotor defines the figures and what limits apply to the rider, cargo and rack before relying on the total for a specific load.

How far will it go with two batteries?

Addmotor’s 2026 product page lists a 120-mile range for dual-battery use in PAS 1. The same page’s FAQ gives an approximate 130-mile estimate, and the company’s blog uses both 120-mile and up-to-130-mile language. These are manufacturer estimates, not verified real-world range results. The published figures do not establish a consistent single number or document test conditions, so treat them as estimates rather than a dependable trip-planning guarantee. Actual distance will vary with riding conditions.

How much does the Greattan D weigh?

Addmotor’s product-page FAQ says the trike weighs about 177 lb with the battery included. Its January 29, 2026 blog gives a weight of 148 lb. The sources do not reconcile the discrepancy. Confirm the current model’s weight and whether the battery is included before making plans for lifting, transport or storage.

What should buyers check before choosing one?

  • Battery configuration and range: Check which battery version is selected and clarify the range estimate and its conditions with Addmotor if it affects your regular routes.
  • Load limits: Ask how the 350+150 lb listing is allocated and whether the rear rack has a separate limit. The stated rack dimensions describe its size, not its load rating.
  • Storage and transport: Consider the trike’s footprint and resolve the conflicting weight figures before deciding where it will be kept or how it will be moved.
  • Trailer and accessories: Addmotor’s FAQ says its trailer suits the Greattan D; its pages also present a battery upgrade, mirrors, pet carrier and helmet as options or related accessories. Verify current availability, model fitment and applicable load limits on the relevant listing.

The specifications and options above are claims or listings from Addmotor’s United States product page and manufacturer-authored blog. The available sources do not establish independent testing, certification, or a neutral comparison with competing cargo trikes.
