- Verify engine and transmission rather than inferring them from the ILX name alone.
- Confirm whether safety and technology features are standard or optional for that configuration.
- Check exterior and interior equipment against the vehicle’s VIN-specific details and the specification for its market.
Acura’s 2014 release described the added equipment as “increased value on a luxury scale”; that is the manufacturer’s promotional characterization, not an independent assessment.
