Acer’s Predator fat-tire e-bikes are built around wide tires and electric assist, but “all terrains” is a marketing claim—not a guarantee. The eNomad-R listing confirms a 20 mph maximum speed and up to 20 miles of power/electric support; Acer’s separate eNomad-PF page publishes a different set of performance figures. The eRanger is another distinct model, with its own drivetrain and suspension. None of the cited specifications establishes independently tested range or all-terrain performance.
What is the Acer Predator fatbike?
It is a family of Acer-branded electric bikes with fat tires, including the eNomad-R, the limited-edition eNomad-PF and the eRanger. Their shared fat-bike styling can suggest similar capability, but their specifications are not interchangeable. In particular, Acer’s eNomad-PF figures should not be treated as eNomad-R specifications.
Acer calls the eNomad-PF a “PREDATOR eNOMAD-PF (LIMITED EDITION)” and an “ELECTRIC BIKE FOR GAMERS.” Its page says: “For optimal stability and road grip, overcome challenging terrains with 20 x 4” Fat tires.” Those are Acer’s product descriptions, not results from a standardized independent terrain test. What the published specifications say
The figures below refer to different models and sources. Acer cautions that eNomad-PF specifications can vary by model or region and describes its performance figures as theoretical. Do not use those figures to estimate the eNomad-R’s performance.

Can the Acer Predator e-bike handle sand, snow, mud and hills?
Wide tires can provide a larger contact area than narrow tires, and Acer links the eNomad-PF’s 20 x 4-inch tires to stability and grip on challenging terrain. Acer Corner’s eNomad-R review also describes 20 x 4-inch Kenda tires, dual front suspension, hydraulic disc brakes and a 750W rear hub motor. These descriptions identify design features; they do not prove that a particular model has been independently tested across sand, snow, mud or steep climbs. Acer Corner eNomad-R review
How well any fat-tire e-bike performs depends on conditions and setup. Loose sand, wet mud, snow depth, tire pressure, rider and cargo weight, battery charge and weather can all affect traction, range and control. Suspension can help absorb bumps, but it does not create grip or replace suitable tires and careful riding. Acer’s stated eNomad-PF climb and range figures remain theoretical, rather than independent test results.

The available details point to different setups, not merely alternate names for the same bike. Quick Recap
What to check before riding or buying
- Confirm the model and region. Match the name on the listing to the bike’s model label; do not transfer eNomad-PF figures to the eNomad-R or eRanger.
- Check local rules. Motor power and assisted-speed limits can affect where an e-bike may legally be ridden and how it is classified. The eNomad-PF’s published 45 km/h throttle-assist figure and the eNomad-R listing’s 20 mph maximum are not interchangeable, and neither by itself establishes legality where you live.
- Match load to the bike. Acer states a 120 kg maximum load for the eNomad-PF; that limit is not established here for the eNomad-R or eRanger.
- Ask about support and warranty. Confirm the warranty terms, service availability, replacement parts and battery support for the exact model and country with Acer or the seller.
- Plan for terrain, not the slogan. Check tires, suspension, braking and fit for your actual routes, then use conservative speed and control on loose or slippery ground.
