It is a historical picture, not a verified list of what he owns today: published accounts do not establish a current inventory, a total number of cars or their combined value.
What cars has Tiger Woods been associated with?
Reports over the years connect Woods with several cars, but the evidence varies: he personally recalled his first car, while other models come from published reporting or recollections by people around him. The list below distinguishes those accounts from claims about present-day ownership.
| Vehicle | What is documented |
|---|---|
| 1988 Toyota Supra | Woods identified it as his first car and recalled customizing it with a bass tube. Whether he bought it new or used is not established. GOLF.com, December 15, 2023 |
| Porsche Carrera | Included among Woods’s cars over the years by GOLF.com, which relays an anecdote from Wright Thompson’s 2016 ESPN reporting about an early drive that ended with the car spinning into grass near his home and being returned to the dealership. GOLF.com |
| Lamborghini Murciélago | Identified by GOLF.com as part of Woods’s personal collection over the years. The report does not establish current ownership or a verified value. GOLF.com |
| Cadillac Escalade | Former caddie Steve Williams recalled several Escalades at Woods’s Isleworth garage before the Buick endorsement deal. The Escalade involved in Woods’s 2009 crash was a separate vehicle reportedly owned by General Motors, not Woods. Golf Digest; Cars.com, March 5, 2015 |
| Mercedes S65 | GOLF.com reports that Woods owned one and says he was driving it when police charged him with DUI in 2017. That incident is not evidence of a current collection. GOLF.com |
| Land Rover | The Associated Press identified a Land Rover in its report on Woods’s March 2026 crash. That establishes the vehicle involved in the incident, not ongoing ownership or collectible status. The Associated Press, March 27, 2026 |
The car Woods remembered most clearly: his first Supra
In a 2023 interview with GOLF.com, Woods recalled his first car as a “1988 navy Toyota Supra.” He also described a personal touch: “With some of my gaming earnings — by putting and playing skins — I was able to afford a bass tube in the back.” The account makes the Supra the clearest first-person detail in the car stories about him; it does not say whether the car was new when he got it. Read the interview at GOLF.com.
What the Isleworth garage recollection adds
Steve Williams, Woods’s former caddie, recalled several Escalades and a Porsche in the Isleworth garage before Woods’s December 1999 Buick endorsement agreement. Williams also described caring for cars as a point of connection: “We really bonded because I took immense pride in washing my cars; it’s therapeutic to me because you see a car dirty, then you see it clean,” according to a Golf Digest excerpt from his book. This recollection gives a glimpse of the garage at that period, not a complete inventory or proof that every vehicle remained there. Golf Digest.

Why the Escalade crash does not prove ownership
The Cadillac Escalade involved in the 2009 crash is sometimes folded into lists of Woods’s cars, but Cars.com reported that the Florida Highway Patrol report identified that particular vehicle as owned by General Motors. That is distinct from Williams’s recollection of multiple Escalades at Woods’s home. The two accounts can both be true: Woods was associated with Escalades, while the crash vehicle was reportedly GM-owned. Cars.com, March 5, 2015.
The Buick Bengal was an endorsement-era concept, not a production car
Woods appeared in advertisements for Buick’s Bengal concept in 2001, according to GOLF.com. The Bengal never entered production, so it belongs in the story of his endorsement years and car-industry visibility—not as a production vehicle in his garage. GOLF.com.

What remains unverified about the collection
The available reporting does not provide a reliable current count, a complete current ownership list or a substantiated total value for Woods’s cars. A 2026 Times of India article offers estimates and additional claims, but reports differ on ownership and valuations, and those figures are not adequately corroborated here. Treat any precise claim about the size or worth of a present-day “Tiger Woods car collection” with caution. The Times of India, September 16, 2026.
