For a particular AMX, verify the production year, engine specification, transmission, body integrity and originality of the interior and trim. Buick’s performance cars are often discussed separately from the most heavily marketed Chevrolet, Ford and Plymouth nameplates, so a GS can merit a closer look when you are building a broad comparison set.

It should not be labeled underrated automatically. Use it as a control in your spreadsheet: compare equivalent condition grades, mileage evidence, engine configuration and sale dates.
