These eight examples range from battery-electric concepts and products to a hydrogen-engine prototype and a six-cylinder vision vehicle. The key distinction is status: some are available or announced for production, while others are design studies or demonstrations with no confirmed retail plans.
How to read this list
This is an evidence-based selection, not a claim that these are the eight motorcycles originally intended by the title. Manufacturer statements are identified as such; the figures below are not independent test results. There is no controlled cross-brand test here, so the models are not ranked by performance.

1. Honda WN7: an electric sport concept becomes a production model
Honda first showed the EV Fun Concept in 2024 as an electric naked-sport design. The company later identified the WN7, in a September 2025 announcement, as the production model based on that concept. That update matters: the concept’s earlier commercialization plan is superseded by the later production-model announcement. Honda’s 2024 EV Fun Concept announcement and its WN7 announcement describe the progression.
Honda estimates the WN7’s range at more than 130 km (83 miles). It also says CCS2 charging can take the battery from 20% to 80% in 30 minutes under its stated conditions. These are Honda estimates, not independently measured results; actual range and charging time can depend on conditions.

#1 Best Overall
- Two wheels don't just carry you forward. They remind you who you are. This Chopper motorcycle model captures that feeling—a tribute to the freedom that lives beyond the road.
- Electroplating painted parts reflect more than light. They reflect the soul of classic bikes. It’s the shine that belongs in every garage and every rider’s memory.
- The low frame and tall handlebars say one thing: this motorcycle has attitude. Every curve and angle was shaped for those who ride to stand apart, not blend in.
- Features a V-type engine with moving pistons. Turn the wheels and see the pistons move. In that motion, the spirit of the motorbike comes to life.
- It’s a gift that speaks without words. For those who hear engines like poetry and see chrome as a badge of belief, this is something worth holding onto.
2. Honda EV Urban Concept: connected city mobility
Where the EV Fun Concept aimed at an electric sport experience, Honda’s EV Urban Concept was presented as a vision for near-future urban mobility. Honda describes a function-focused design, connected technologies and an in-house-developed battery pack. Its announcement establishes it as a concept, not a production model or a vehicle with a confirmed sales date. Honda’s concept announcement covers both electric concepts.
3. BMW Motorrad Vision CE: a protective cage around an electric ride
BMW’s Vision CE imagines single-track electric mobility for urban centres, but its standout feature is the structure surrounding the rider: BMW describes a metal-tube composite “cage.” BMW also says the concept eliminates the need for a helmet and protective clothing. That is BMW’s description of this particular concept—not a general safety finding, recommendation for ordinary motorcycles, or statement about helmet laws. The Vision CE remains a concept in the cited material. BMW Motorrad Vision CE.

4. BMW Motorrad Vision K 18: a six-cylinder alternative to electrification
Not every future-facing motorcycle is electric. BMW’s Vision K 18 is a vision vehicle built around a newly developed 1,800 cc six-cylinder engine. The displacement gives the concept a very different direction from the urban electric machines on this list. BMW’s page presents a vision vehicle; it does not establish a production commitment. BMW’s Vision K 18 description.
5. Verge TS Pro: a hubless electric superbike
Verge presents the TS Pro as an electric superbike, notable for its hubless rear-wheel design. The company’s official site advertises range, torque, acceleration and charging figures for the model. Those are manufacturer claims, and figures can vary by version and market presentation; they should not be read as independently verified performance or compared directly with other brands’ claims. Check the current TS Pro specification for the relevant market before relying on a particular figure. Verge’s official motorcycle site.

6. Verge TS Ultra: a separate, more performance-oriented model
The TS Ultra is a distinct Verge model, not simply another name for the TS Pro. Verge advertises model-specific performance figures for it as well, so any range, torque, acceleration or charging number should be tied to the exact model and market shown on the company’s site.
Verge’s press-release index lists a January 5, 2026 announcement that solid-state battery technology is available to customers. That index entry does not, by itself, establish battery chemistry details, cycle life, charging performance or any resulting range figure. Verge’s model pages and press-release index.

7. Kawasaki hydrogen-engine motorcycle: a prototype that ran in public
Kawasaki reported that it conducted a public run of a hydrogen-engine motorcycle at Suzuka Circuit on July 20, 2024. This is evidence of a prototype demonstration by a mass-production motorcycle manufacturer—not evidence that consumers can buy it, or that a retail range or sale date has been announced. The approach is notable because it uses hydrogen in an engine rather than following the battery-electric route. Kawasaki’s 2024 investor material.
8. Kawasaki Ninja e-1 ABS: an electric motorcycle on a product page
The Ninja e-1 ABS is a useful counterpoint to the concepts and prototype on this list: Kawasaki’s US product page describes it as a full-size electric motorcycle for around-town riding. A product page is not proof of current inventory or availability in every market, so check Kawasaki’s local site and current model-year information before treating it as on sale where you live. The examples point to several parallel paths: battery-electric sport and city machines, an unusual cage-style urban concept, hydrogen combustion, and continued interest in large internal-combustion engines. The most useful question is not which design looks most futuristic, but what stage it has reached. A production-model announcement, a product listing, a concept reveal and a one-day prototype demonstration are different kinds of evidence—and none should be mistaken for another.
