One model, KTM’s 990 RC R, was shifted to model year 2026; Honda’s WN7 was planned to reach dealers in early 2026. The bikes below span very different uses, from a naked roadster to an electric motorcycle. Details and prices are manufacturer announcements, not independent road-test findings.
How to read the dates and prices
This is a retrospective on motorcycles announced or included in manufacturers’ 2025 lineups, not a claim that all five were on sale during 2025. Model year, announcement date, production timing and dealer arrival are separate milestones. Prices below are quoted only where the cited manufacturer announcement supplied a country-specific figure; they are not current quotes.

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA announced its updated MT-07 on November 4, 2024, as part of its 2025 US lineup. The company highlighted minimalist styling and an LED headlight, along with a YCC-T electronic throttle and multiple riding modes. The chassis and cockpit updates it named include USD forks, radially mounted four-piston brake calipers, SpinForged wheels and a 5-inch color TFT with smartphone connectivity. Yamaha also described an acoustic amplification system.

#1 Best Overall
- Two wheels don't just carry you forward. They remind you who you are. This Chopper motorcycle model captures that feeling—a tribute to the freedom that lives beyond the road.
- Electroplating painted parts reflect more than light. They reflect the soul of classic bikes. It’s the shine that belongs in every garage and every rider’s memory.
- The low frame and tall handlebars say one thing: this motorcycle has attitude. Every curve and angle was shaped for those who ride to stand apart, not blend in.
- Features a V-type engine with moving pistons. Turn the wheels and see the pistons move. In that motion, the spirit of the motorbike comes to life.
- It’s a gift that speaks without words. For those who hear engines like poetry and see chrome as a badge of belief, this is something worth holding onto.
2. Yamaha Ténéré 700: an adventure-oriented alternative
The Ténéré 700 gives Yamaha’s 2025 lineup a very different direction from the MT-07: an adventure motorcycle rather than a street naked. Yamaha’s US lineup announcement described rally-inspired styling, ride-by-wire, revised ergonomics, KYB suspension and a vertically oriented 6.3-inch TFT display.
These are manufacturer-described features, not independent findings about comfort, off-road capability or handling. Yamaha’s announcement does not establish a price or availability figure here. Yamaha’s 2025 lineup announcement

3. KTM 990 RC R: supersport ambitions, with a model-year change
KTM describes the 990 RC R as a track-focused supersport that is also road-usable. Its September 11, 2025 production update said main production would begin in late fall 2025 and that affected models would move from model year 2025 to model year 2026. That makes it misleading to present the bike simply as a forthcoming 2025-model-year motorcycle.
KTM’s update calls it Austrian-built. It does not supply performance figures in the cited announcement, so acceleration, power and track performance should not be inferred from its positioning. KTM’s production update

4. Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 ST: adventure sport for road use
Harley-Davidson introduced the Pan America 1250 ST on January 23, 2025, calling it an “adventure sport motorcycle.” The announced configuration pairs an upright riding position with a 17-inch front wheel, a liquid-cooled Revolution Max 1250 engine, and premium suspension and brakes. The company positioned it for daily riding, back roads and weekend touring.
Harley-Davidson said its 2025 collection was available through authorized dealerships globally when it published the announcement. That historical statement does not confirm current stock or availability in a particular country. Harley-Davidson’s 2025 lineup announcement

5. Honda WN7: a full-sized electric motorcycle
Honda Motor Europe’s September 16, 2025 announcement identified the WN7 as the company’s first full-sized electric motorcycle. It planned production to start in 2025 and first dealer arrivals in early 2026, so the expected retail timing was not 2025. The announcement listed a UK on-the-road price of £12,999; that figure applies to the UK announcement and should not be treated as a price for other markets.
