The price is a starting point, not the cost of every EV3 configuration. Kia lists five trims: Light, Wind, Land, GT-Line, and GT. What does “Kia’s cheapest electric car” mean?
It means the EV3 is Kia’s most affordable EV, according to Kia. It does not establish that the EV3 is the least expensive new electric car sold by any automaker in the United States. How long does it take to charge the EV3?
Kia estimates 31 minutes to charge from 10% to 80% using a DC fast charger. Treat that as the manufacturer’s estimate, not a guaranteed charging time: results can vary with charging conditions and the vehicle’s circumstances. Kia says the EV3 is compatible with Tesla Superchargers.
