The U.S.-market 2027 Honda CR-V starts at $31,520 for the LX and is offered in seven trims, with gas and hybrid powertrains. Honda lists up to 43/36/40 mpg city/highway/combined for a 2WD hybrid, but those estimates are based on 2026 EPA ratings. This guide covers Honda’s published pricing and specifications, not an independent road test; equipment and figures vary by market and model year.
2027 Honda CR-V trims and starting prices
Honda lists these starting MSRPs on its U.S. model page. They are not guaranteed transaction prices or out-the-door totals; price and color availability can vary by trim and configuration. Check the current dealer disclosure for destination, taxes and fees.

Engines, hybrid system and fuel economy
The LX, EX and EX-L use a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder rated at 190 horsepower. The Sport Hybrid, TrailSport Hybrid, Sport-L Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid use a two-motor hybrid system rated at 204 total system horsepower. Honda’s 2027 specifications release, published in 2026, gives the following EPA economy figures; Honda says the estimates are based on 2026 EPA mileage ratings and are provided for comparison, not as a separate 2027 EPA test.

How the CR-V trims differ
The main choice is between the three gas trims and four hybrids, then between front-wheel drive and AWD availability or standard equipment. Honda calls its AWD system Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System. AWD is available on most trims and standard on TrailSport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid.
- For a gas powertrain: LX, EX and EX-L use the 190-hp turbo engine. Honda lists AWD gas economy at 27/31/29 mpg, compared with 28/33/30 mpg for 2WD.
- For the highest listed hybrid economy: the 2WD hybrid rating is 43/36/40 mpg. AWD hybrid ratings vary by trim: 40/34/37 mpg for Sport, Sport-L and Sport Touring, and 38/33/35 mpg for TrailSport.
- For TrailSport-specific equipment: TrailSport Hybrid has standard AWD, 18-inch wheels and all-terrain tires.
- For added cabin and convenience equipment: EX adds comfort and driver-assistance features over LX; EX-L adds leather-trimmed seats, a power tailgate and parking sensors. Hybrid equipment varies, including the leather-trimmed Sport-L cabin and Sport Touring’s Bose audio, Google built-in and hands-free power tailgate.

Cargo space, towing and seating
Honda lists up to 76.5 cubic feet of cargo volume behind the first row for gas trims and 71.8 cubic feet for hybrids. Behind the second row, the listed figures are 39.3 cubic feet for gas trims, 36.3 for Sport hybrids and 34.7 for Sport Touring Hybrid. Honda’s measurement note references SAE J1100 and seating-position basis, so compare like configurations. The rear seatback reclines and folds in a split arrangement.

Safety and driver-assistance equipment
Honda’s 2027 specifications table lists the following features across all trims: Collision Mitigation Braking System, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, Lane Keeping Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition. Blind Spot Information and Rear Cross Traffic Monitor are listed from EX upward.
