The 2027 Ford Bronco RTR is a new, performance-focused Bronco developed by Ford and RTR Vehicles, with high-speed off-road use in mind. Ford describes its starting MSRP as just over $50,000 and a fully specified example as just under $60,000, both before destination and delivery. Those are rounded descriptions, not exact sticker prices.
“Not for Everyone” echoes RTR’s slogan, “Available to All, Not for Everyone.” The Bronco RTR borrows selected Raptor-related ideas and hardware; it is not a Bronco Raptor, and Ford has not published an exact horsepower or torque figure for it.
What is the 2027 Ford Bronco RTR?
Ford and RTR Vehicles announced the Bronco RTR as a 2027 model on January 13, 2026. It is a performance-oriented addition to the Bronco lineup, developed and tested in Johnson Valley, California, and aimed particularly at high-speed desert driving. RTR is the vehicle and motorsports brand founded by Vaughn Gittin Jr.
Ford describes two levels of capability: the standard setup and an available Sasquatch package with RTR Suspension. Bronco chief program engineer Ed Krenz said the model “fills a new space in the lineup, offering two levels of capability so it’s ready from the factory for thrill-seeking customers.” That is Ford’s positioning, rather than an independent assessment of the production vehicle.

Why is it called Raptor-infused?
The Raptor connection is specific, not a claim that the RTR gets the full Bronco Raptor package. Ford highlights a 1,000-watt cooling fan shared with the Bronco Raptor, along with high-speed, competition-inspired off-road engineering. The launch announcement also names reinforced steering and software-operated, race-derived anti-lag turbo technology. Ford’s later specifications article describes a 2.3-liter engine calibration with anti-lag and upgraded cooling.
Vaughn Gittin Jr., RTR Vehicles’ founder, described the engineering this way: “We gave it the suspension tech to handle the hits, but we also sweat the details that matter to drivers. We reinforced the steering, added anti-lag turbo tech and share high-power cooling fan hardware from the Bronco Raptor to help keep Bronco RTR cool during extended trail time and playing in sand.” These are statements from the vehicle’s development team; the reviewed sources do not include independent production-vehicle testing or comparative measurements.

Ford has not provided an exact horsepower or torque figure for the Bronco RTR in the cited materials. Do not assume its engine output matches the Bronco Raptor’s.
What equipment is standard, and what does Sasquatch add?
The most important distinction for shoppers is that the Bronco RTR’s 35-inch tires and HOSS 3.0 shocks are tied to an optional package, not standard equipment. The standard model uses 33-inch rugged-terrain tires and a high-clearance, wide-track HOSS 1.0 suspension, according to Ford’s specifications article.

Ford also highlights RTR-specific appearance details: a grille with signature lighting, Hyper Lime accents and 17-inch beadlock-capable RTR Evo 6 wheels. Its specifications article lists Hyper Lime and RTR graphics packages among available appearance options. The wheel’s beadlock-capable description does not, by itself, establish that every owner should use it in a particular configuration or for a particular purpose.
How much does the 2027 Bronco RTR cost?
Ford’s May 10, 2026 specifications article describes the starting MSRP as just over $50,000. It puts a fully specified Bronco RTR with the named appearance and Sasquatch/RTR Suspension packages at just under $60,000 before destination and delivery. Ford gives rounded descriptions rather than exact MSRP amounts, so neither figure should be treated as a precise quote or an out-the-door price.

Ford’s price qualification says base MSRP excludes destination and delivery fees, government fees and taxes, finance charges, dealer processing charges, electronic filing charges, emissions-testing charges and optional equipment. Actual pricing depends on configuration and applicable charges; ask a Ford dealer for a current, itemized quote.
Ford brand manager Haley Skiko called the model “a new sweet spot for performance value and style in the lineup” and said, “We’re delivering Raptor-inspired high-speed capability with a lower starting price than Badlands Sasquatch.” That is Ford’s comparison and characterization. The available figures do not provide a complete, like-for-like price and equipment comparison across those configurations, so they are not enough to establish which is the better value for a particular buyer.

How does the Bronco RTR differ from the Bronco Raptor?
The Bronco RTR is a separate Bronco configuration with selected Raptor-inspired engineering, including the shared 1,000-watt cooling fan. Ford positions it around high-speed off-road capability and offers an optional suspension-and-tire upgrade. The Bronco Raptor is the model from which that cooling-fan hardware is shared; Ford’s announcement does not say the RTR receives the Raptor’s complete hardware package.
For a useful comparison, check the exact configuration and equipment rather than relying on the “Raptor-infused” label. In particular, distinguish the RTR’s standard 33-inch tires and HOSS 1.0 suspension from the optional 35-inch tires and HOSS 3.0 Fox dampers. The available source material does not support a full specification-by-specification comparison with the Raptor or a claim that one is faster.
When can you order the 2027 Bronco RTR?
Ford’s January 13, 2026 announcement said orders would open in October 2026 and sales would begin in January 2027. That announcement establishes the planned timing, not whether the order bank is open now. Because order availability can change, confirm the current status with Ford or a dealer before making plans.
