Its redesigned seats, chassis-isolation changes, all-season tires and quieter exhaust tuning are intended to make the super-SUV feel more relaxed without giving up headline performance: Aston Martin claims 0–60 mph in 3.1 seconds and a 193-mph top speed. First deliveries are planned for Q4 2026; no confirmed price was announced with the launch.
What the 717-hp figure means
Aston Martin lists the DBX GT’s maximum output as 727 PS, 717 bhp or 535 kW at 6,250 rpm. The title’s 717-horsepower figure refers to the manufacturer’s bhp specification. Maximum torque is 900 Nm (664 lb-ft), available from 3,000 to 5,250 rpm. These are manufacturer-published specifications, not independent test results. Aston Martin’s DBX GT specifications
Power comes from an all-alloy, 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 paired with a nine-speed automatic gearbox and electronically controlled active all-wheel drive. Aston Martin’s DBX GT specifications

How the GT differs from the DBX S
Aston Martin positions the GT as the more discreet, luxury-led sibling to the performance-focused DBX S. The distinction is one of character and setup, not an announced reduction in power: the GT itself is specified at 717 bhp and 3.1 seconds to 60 mph. The launch materials do not provide a complete side-by-side specification comparison or independent ride evaluation, so they do not establish that the GT is slower or quantify a ride-quality difference.
The exterior follows the same restrained approach, with revised grille and trim details rather than the more overt performance emphasis associated with the S. Aston Martin CEO Adrian Hallmark described the intended customer as someone who “prefer[s] assured elegance over sporting aggression and demand[s] a higher degree of luxury.” That is the company’s positioning, not an independent assessment. What Aston Martin changed for comfort and refinement
Redesigned front and rear seats
Both rows receive new seat forms with more cushioning, reworked bolstering and comfort curves intended to balance support with everyday use. Aston Martin also describes bespoke embroidery. Aston Martin launch announcement Aston Martin Media release
Transmission and rear-subframe isolation
Aston Martin says it revised transmission calibration for smoother, more consistent shifts and changed the transmission mount bush. Two longitudinal dampers manage movement between the body and rear subframe. The stated aim is improved refinement over low-speed surfaces and larger suspension events. Wheel and tire choices
The standard setup uses 22-inch wheels with Pirelli Scorpion Zero All-Season tires. Optional 23-inch wheels can be specified with either Pirelli P-Zero Summer or Scorpion Zero All-Season tires. Aston Martin’s cited launch materials do not specify tire dimensions, so a buyer would need vehicle-specific fitment information before sourcing replacements. Aston Martin Media release
A quieter exhaust character in GT mode
A dedicated exhaust tune is intended to reduce harsh metallic frequencies. Aston Martin says GT mode keeps the car’s progress discreet, while Sport and Sport+ restore a fuller exhaust sound; the company also describes the cabin as acoustically calmer.
