The 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S pairs a 3.6-litre flat-six with a hybrid system to deliver 523 kW of combined output. Porsche calls it the most powerful production 911 to date. That same output is listed as 701 hp in Porsche’s US announcement and 711 PS in its European materials: the figures use different horsepower units, not different power claims.
What the hybrid system adds
This is a performance-focused T-Hybrid system, not a claim of electric-only driving. Porsche’s materials describe a 400-volt architecture with two electric turbochargers, an electric motor integrated into the eight-speed PDK transmission, and a 1.9 kWh high-voltage battery. The battery is positioned at the front, which Porsche says helps with weight distribution. The PDK sends power to Porsche Traction Management all-wheel drive.
The two eTurbos distinguish the Turbo S system from the earlier T-Hybrid implementation in the 911 Carrera GTS, which uses one electric turbocharger. Porsche’s stated configuration does not establish plug-in charging, electric-only range, fuel savings, or emissions benefits.
Engine output versus combined output
The engine by itself is rated at 471 kW (640 PS) and 760 Nm. With the hybrid components contributing, Porsche quotes a combined system output of 523 kW (711 PS) and maximum system torque of 800 Nm. Those are different measures: the engine-only figures should not be confused with the output and torque of the complete powertrain.

Porsche says combined output is 61 PS higher than in the previous Turbo S. The US release gives the new car’s 523 kW as 701 hp; the European press kit gives it as 711 PS. Both express the same power in different units.
Acceleration and top speed
Performance figures vary by market and test convention. Porsche’s US announcement quotes 0–60 mph in 2.4 seconds. Its European materials quote 0–100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 322 km/h. These are manufacturer figures, not independent test results.

For the Coupé, Porsche says the 0–100 km/h time is 0.2 seconds quicker than before. It also lists 0–200 km/h in 8.4 seconds, an improvement of 0.5 seconds over the predecessor.

Porsche reports a 7:03.92-minute lap of the Nürburgring Nordschleife, set during final development drives in autumn 2024. The company says the time is about 14 seconds faster than the predecessor’s. It is a Porsche-reported development result, not an independent comparison under a separately described test protocol.

How to read the figures
- 701 hp and 711 PS: Porsche’s US and European ways of expressing the same 523 kW system output.
- Engine versus system: 471 kW (640 PS) and 760 Nm apply to the combustion engine; 523 kW (711 PS) and 800 Nm are combined-system figures.
- Acceleration: 0–60 mph and 0–100 km/h are distinct measurement conventions and should be kept with their respective market figures.
- Regional specifications: Porsche’s technical sheet is marked MY T 10/2025 and says its data refers to the EU model, with possible country variation. Check the relevant local Porsche source for market-specific specifications and availability.
