The 2026 Mitsubishi Outlander LS Black Edition was reported for Australia as a seven-seat, all-wheel-drive special edition focused on styling and comfort equipment—not extra power. CarsGuide reported a launch price of $47,990 before on-road costs, $1,450 above the regular LS AWD seven-seater in the same report. Those are launch-period figures, not a current quote.
How much is the Mitsubishi Outlander Black Edition in Australia?
CarsGuide reported on 22 January 2026 that Mitsubishi would offer the Outlander LS Black Edition for $47,990 before on-road costs. In that report, the regular LS AWD seven-seater was priced at $46,540, making the reported difference $1,450.
These are prices reported around launch, not confirmed October 2026 pricing. The report does not establish whether the Black Edition is currently orderable or what dealer stock remains. Check with Mitsubishi Australia or a local dealer for a current quote and availability.
What does the Outlander LS Black Edition add?
The special edition builds on the LS AWD seven-seater with black exterior accents, distinctive wheels and selected cabin comfort features. CarsGuide reported the interior additions as equipment drawn from the higher Aspire grade.

Is the Outlander Black Edition seven seats?
Yes. The CarsGuide report identifies it as an LS AWD with seven seats. The edition is therefore a three-row family SUV configuration, rather than a two-row special edition.
Does the Outlander Black Edition have a different engine?
No engine upgrade was reported. CarsGuide listed the same 2.5-litre petrol engine used in other variants, producing 135 kW and 245 Nm. The reported changes concern appearance and equipment, not powertrain performance.

The same report also noted that the two-wheel-drive, seven-seat ES had become available to private buyers from $42,540, after previously being limited to fleet buyers. CarsGuide described it as the least expensive seven-seat Outlander available at that time.

The ES is cheaper in the reported launch-period comparison, but it is two-wheel drive. The Black Edition’s premium over the LS AWD is tied to the listed styling and comfort additions; the report does not provide a full equipment-by-equipment comparison or establish current prices.

When did the Outlander Black Edition arrive in Australia?
CarsGuide’s 22 January 2026 report said the edition would reach showrooms “from next month,” which points to February 2026. That was a forecast at the time of publication, not confirmation of its present availability.
