Mazda’s published figures and equipment are useful for comparing configurations, but they are not independent road-test results.
How much does a 2026 Mazda3 Sedan cost?
Mazda USA’s model page, accessed October 8, 2026, lists the following starting MSRPs. Mazda says these prices exclude options, taxes, title, license and destination charges; dealer pricing varies. Its pricing information lists destination and handling at $1,315, or $1,360 in Alaska. Confirm the price, incentives and availability with a dealer because they can change.

These are advertised starting figures, not out-the-door prices. Mazda’s May 4, 2026 pricing update also states a $24,650 starting MSRP for the sedan; its current model page is the more useful reference for comparing the five displayed trim prices.
What are the Mazda3 Sedan trim levels?
2.5 S
The entry trim pairs the naturally aspirated 2.5-liter engine with front-wheel drive (FWD). Mazda lists smartphone integration, blind spot monitoring and Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go among the equipment. Its published estimate for the 2.5 S FWD is 27 mpg city, 36 highway and 30 combined.

2.5 S Carbon Edition
Carbon Edition is the first trim in this price list with standard i-ACTIV AWD. Mazda also specifies Polymetal Gray paint, red leather-trimmed seats and black-finish 18-inch wheels.
2.5 Turbo Premium Plus
The top listed sedan trim combines the turbo engine with standard AWD. Mazda’s listed highlights include Bose 12-speaker audio and a 360-degree view monitor.

Equipment and drivetrain can depend on the exact configuration. Check Mazda’s trim and specifications page before treating a feature as standard on a particular car.
Is the Mazda3 Sedan available with AWD?
Yes. Mazda’s pricing table lists i-ACTIV AWD as standard on the 2.5 S Carbon Edition and 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus. Other listed sedan trims are FWD in the published configuration. Mazda describes AWD as available on select models, so verify the drivetrain shown on the exact vehicle you are considering.

How much horsepower does a Mazda3 have, and does it have a turbo?
Mazda lists a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter engine across the Mazda3 range. The 2.5 S engine is rated at up to 186 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. The Turbo model is rated at up to 250 hp and 320 lb-ft when using recommended premium unleaded fuel; Mazda lists 227 hp on 87-octane fuel. The Turbo Sedan comes standard with i-ACTIV AWD.

Mazda’s EPA estimates vary by configuration. The 2026 Mazda3 Sedan 2.5 S FWD is listed at 27 mpg city, 36 highway and 30 combined. Mazda shows 23 city, 32 highway and 27 combined for the Turbo Premium Plus. These are estimates, not observed real-world results; Mazda notes that actual fuel economy varies.

What does the Mazda3 Sedan look like?
Mazda describes its styling language as KODO: “Soul of Motion.” Its official 2026 Mazda3 Sedan gallery includes exterior and interior images, seats, wheels, the 10.25-inch display, Bose speakers and cargo-area views. Check each image’s caption for the trim shown. Mazda notes that pictured vehicles may include optional equipment or cost more than the advertised starting price.
What safety features and ratings does Mazda list?
Mazda identifies Smart Brake Support, Blind Spot Monitoring and Lane-keep Assist among standard safety features, and lists Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go on the 2.5 S trim comparison. Mazda also says the 2026 Mazda3 Sedan is a 2026 IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+. That award statement is Mazda’s; consult IIHS for the rating details and test criteria. Driver-assistance systems have operating limits, and Mazda directs owners to the vehicle manual for guidance.
Can you add a roof rack or cargo accessories?
Mazda lists roof rack crossbars, a cargo tray and a rear bumper guard among the available accessories. The crossbars can support compatible attachments for items such as bikes, skis and snowboards, but Mazda says roof moldings are required and sold separately, some attachments are also sold separately, and loads must be secured properly. Payload and load capacity are limited. Confirm year and trim fitment and follow Mazda’s loading guidance before carrying gear.
