What is new for the 2026 Lexus LS?
The 2026 LS 500 AWD Heritage Edition is the LS’s final-year U.S. model, according to Lexus’s September 26, 2025 release. Lexus calls it a “thoughtfully curated, mono spec model with elevated style and substance” and says production is limited to 250 units. How much does the 2026 Lexus LS cost?
Lexus lists the LS 500 AWD Heritage Edition at a U.S. MSRP of $99,380, including a $1,550 delivery, processing and handling fee. The automaker’s pricing chart was updated May 1, 2026. Car and Driver displays $99,280 on its review page; for the automaker’s listed MSRP, Lexus’s official figure is the relevant one. The MSRP is not a dealer quote, and actual transaction prices can vary.

The detailed instrumented results on that page are for a 2025 LS 500 F Sport AWD, not a 2026 Heritage Edition: Car and Driver recorded 0–60 mph in 5.0 seconds and 18 mpg observed in its test. Those figures should not be treated as a dedicated test of the final-year model.
How does the Lexus LS drive?
Car and Driver’s review highlights the LS for its quiet, spacious cabin, smooth powertrain and comfortable ride. Those qualities make it a comfort-oriented full-size luxury sedan rather than a performance-first choice. The same review says some competitors provide stronger performance and more advanced technology; those are the publication’s assessments, not measured comparisons in the figures above. Is the 2026 Lexus LS worth considering?
The LS is worth a look if your priorities are cabin quietness, a spacious interior and a composed ride.
