The 2026 Lexus GX starts at $68,335 in the U.S., including a $1,550 delivery, processing and handling (DPH) fee. The claim that most trims rise by $1,350 is incorrect: Lexus’s official price tables show a $3,050 increase in the listed price for each of the six grades compared with 2025. Because the included DPH fee itself rose by $200, the implied increase before that fee is $2,850 per grade.
2026 Lexus GX prices compared with 2025
Lexus USA’s 2026 price table, updated June 19, 2026, lists all six GX grades with the $1,550 DPH fee included. The 2025 comparison prices below come from Lexus’s December 13, 2024 release and include a $1,350 DPH fee. These are U.S. manufacturer list prices, not out-the-door quotes.

What the price increase includes
The all-in list-price difference is $3,050 on every grade. Lexus’s listed DPH fee increased from $1,350 for 2025 to $1,550 for 2026, a $200 difference. Subtracting those stated fees from the listed prices implies a $2,850 increase in vehicle price before DPH for each grade.
The table does not establish a buyer’s final transaction cost. Taxes, registration, optional equipment, dealer-installed items and local dealer pricing are not included. For a purchase estimate, request a dated, itemized quote from a local Lexus dealer.

Which 2026 GX grade fits your needs?
Premium and Premium+
Premium and Premium+ are the two lower-priced grades in the lineup. Lexus describes both as seating up to seven; verify the exact configuration and seating details for the vehicle you are considering.
Luxury and Luxury+
The Luxury grades are priced above the Premium grades, with Luxury+ the most expensive 2026 GX at $84,800 including DPH. Lexus also describes these grades as seating up to seven.

Overtrail and Overtrail+
Both Overtrail grades are five-passenger configurations. They are the only grades Lexus identifies as having the one-inch lift and 9.84-inch minimum ground clearance; both also add a locking rear differential. Lexus lists the 2026 Overtrail at $75,980 and Overtrail+ at $83,445, including DPH.
Shared powertrain and important specification differences
All 2026 GX grades use a 3.4-liter twin-turbo V6 rated at 349 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Full-time four-wheel drive and a locking center differential are standard. Towing capacity varies by grade, so do not treat one figure as universal: Lexus’s 2026 specifications list a maximum of 9,063 pounds for Premium, Premium+ and Overtrail+, and 9,096 pounds for Overtrail with the standard tow hitch receiver.

Lexus calls the 2026 GX a carryover from the prior model year, but that description does not mean every item of equipment is unchanged. The release separately identifies model-year details, including standard equipment on Overtrail grades.

Accessories for travel and off-road use
Lexus says the GX’s GA-F platform is engineered to carry dealer-available accessories and gear through its Associated Accessory Parts Program, citing rooftop tents and recovery kits as examples. If you are considering a Lexus GX 550 rooftop tent, confirm the tent’s vehicle fit, mounting system and load limits against both the product specifications and the GX’s applicable roof-load limits. The platform statement alone does not establish that a particular third-party tent fits.
