Tesla Level 2 Charger NACS 48A - Hardwired 240V Wall Level 2 EV Charger
  • WORKS WITH EVERY TESLA + OTHER EVs: Built-in Tesla-style plug (NACS standard) connects directly to Tesla Model S, 3, X and Y - and any EV with a NACS port - no adapter needed. The plug even has a button to pop open your Tesla’s charge port. Non-Tesla J1772 vehicles can charge with a NACS-to-J1772 adapter (not included). The extra-long 25 ft cable easily reaches across a garage or driveway.
  • HARDWIRED - PROFESSIONAL INSTALL: This Level 2 charger is hardwired (not plug-in), so a licensed electrician installs it per National Electrical Code. It delivers up to 48A on a dedicated 60A, 240V circuit - enough to charge most EVs fully overnight. Want more speed? Your can set DIP switches 4 and 5 to unlock 50A on a dedicated 70A circuit. Before ordering, check your car’s port type and that your electrical panel can support the circuit.
  • CONTROL FROM YOUR PHONE: A stronger built-in antenna keeps the charger online even in a garage or basement. Use the free app to start and stop charging, set the charging speed (6-48A), get reminders, and track how much energy and money each charge uses. Requires a 2.4 GHz home WiFi network.
  • SAFETY-CERTIFIED & WEATHERPROOF: Independently tested and certified (UL, ETL, FCC, Energy Star). A fully sealed IP66 / NEMA 4 housing stands up to rain, snow, heat and dust indoors or out, and internal steel shielding protects the electronics for years of reliable use.
  • GLOW-IN-THE-DARK HOLSTER: The included high-visibility holster glows in the dark so you can find and dock the plug easily at night. Holds the connector securely when not in use.

What comes with the $48,895 ES 350e Premium?

The entry-level ES 350e is a front-wheel-drive battery-electric sedan with 221 total system horsepower. It includes a 14-inch Lexus Interface touchscreen, NuLuxe interior trim, Lexus Safety System+ 4.0, seating for five, and a native North American Charging System (NACS) port.

Lexus estimates that the ES 350e Premium can travel 307 miles on a charge when equipped with its standard 19-inch wheels. Optional 21-inch wheels lower the listed estimate to 292 miles. Both numbers are EPA estimates, not guarantees: weather, speed, temperature, terrain, traffic, wheel choice, climate-control use, and driving style can all affect actual range.

Charging equipment is included

The car includes a dual-voltage charging cable that can use Level 1 120-volt outlets or Level 2 240-volt outlets. Lexus also includes a CCS-to-NACS adapter with every ES battery-electric model, allowing the vehicle to use compatible public Level 2 and DC fast-charging stations that do not have a native NACS connector.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

With an 11-kilowatt onboard AC charger, Lexus says Level 2 charging can take approximately seven hours under ideal conditions. DC fast charging from 10% to 80% can take about 28 to 30 minutes, depending on conditions and the capability of the charging station. Actual times can be longer if the battery is cold, the charger is sharing power, or the station cannot deliver the vehicle’s maximum charging rate.

A separate NACS EV charger is not mandatory for basic ownership because the included cable supports household charging. However, a dedicated wall-mounted Level 2 charger can be more convenient and generally better suited to regular overnight charging. Installation is separate and may require an electrical-panel upgrade or other electrical work; buyers should confirm the charger’s connector, amperage, circuit requirements, and compatibility before purchasing.

How the cheaper EV compares with the ES 350h hybrid

The ES 350h uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and an electric motor. Lexus lists 244 net combined horsepower and an EPA-estimated 46 mpg combined for the front-wheel-drive ES 350h. The available all-wheel-drive hybrid is also rated at 244 horsepower.

Tesla Level 2 Charger NACS 40A - Plug in Nema 14-50 240V Level 2 EV Charger
  • WORKS WITH EVERY TESLA + OTHER EVs: Built-in Tesla-style plug (NACS standard) connects directly to Tesla Model S, 3, X and Y - and any EV with a NACS port - no adapter needed. The plug even has a button to pop open your Tesla’s charge port. Non-Tesla J1772 vehicles can charge with a NACS-to-J1772 adapter (not included).
  • PLUG IN, NO HARDWIRING: Level 2 charger delivers up to 40A to fully charge most EVs overnight. Plugs into a 240V, 4-prong NEMA 14-50 outlet (the RV/range type - NOT a dryer outlet) on a dedicated 50A circuit. The extra-long 25 ft cable easily reaches across a garage or driveway. Before ordering, check your car’s port type and that you have the right outlet.
  • CONTROL & SAVE FROM YOUR PHONE: A stronger built-in antenna keeps the charger online even in a garage or basement. Use the free app to start/stop charging, set speed (6-40A), get reminders, and track energy use and cost. Schedule off-peak overnight charging to cut your electric bill. Requires 2.4 GHz WiFi.

The hybrid’s main advantage is refueling convenience. It can be driven and replenished at gasoline stations without depending on a home charger or public charging network. The ES 350e, by contrast, can have lower routine energy costs and quieter electric operation, but it makes the most sense when the owner has reliable access to charging and can plan around longer stops on extended trips.

Which one is the better buy?

  • Choose the ES 350e Premium if you can charge at home or work, most of your driving fits comfortably within its usable range, and you want the lowest entry price in the ES lineup.
  • Choose the ES 350h Premium if you lack convenient charging, regularly take long trips, or want gasoline-station refueling without paying extra for all-wheel drive.
  • Consider the ES 500e if all-wheel drive is important, while remembering that the ES 500e Premium costs $3,000 more than the ES 350e Premium and has a shorter 276-mile EPA estimate with standard 19-inch wheels.

The ES 500e is rated at 276 miles with standard 19-inch wheels and 272 miles with available 21-inch wheels. That means choosing the all-wheel-drive electric model involves both a higher price and a modest range penalty compared with the entry ES 350e.

The price was previously listed as $48,795

Some earlier reports show the ES 350e Premium at $48,795. That figure came with a $1,295 destination-and-delivery charge. Lexus later published a revised price chart listing $48,895 and a $1,395 Delivery, Processing, and Handling fee.

For a current U.S. price story, the later May 2026 figure is the relevant one. Lexus says the fee may change, and the final price at a dealership can vary because of dealer-installed options, market adjustments, taxes, registration, financing, and other charges.

The 2026 ES is Lexus’s first U.S. EV-and-hybrid ES generation

The 2026 ES is the model’s eighth generation and the first U.S.-market ES generation to offer both battery-electric and hybrid powertrains. Lexus says the 2026 ES 350e, ES 500e, and ES 350h are assembled at Toyota Motor Kyushu in Japan.

The result is an unusual lineup decision: Lexus has made its least expensive ES an EV rather than the hybrid. That does not make the ES 350e the cheapest electric vehicle in the entire U.S. market—it only makes it the cheapest trim in the 2026 Lexus ES range. It also does not mean every buyer will save money overall. Energy prices, charging installation, insurance, financing, local incentives, maintenance, and driving habits can change the ownership calculation.

What to check before ordering an ES 350e

  1. Confirm your charging location. Check whether you can use a suitable 120-volt or 240-volt outlet at home, or whether workplace and public chargers are practical for your routine.
  2. Get an electrical assessment if installing Level 2 charging. The included cable and a wall charger are not the same thing; installation and electrical upgrades are separate costs.
  3. Choose wheels carefully. The 21-inch wheels reduce the ES 350e’s listed EPA range from 307 to 292 miles.
  4. Check public-charger compatibility. The car has a native NACS port and includes a CCS-to-NACS adapter, but station availability, connector condition, power delivery, and pricing vary.
  5. Compare the complete purchase price. Verify the dealer’s vehicle price, options, taxes, registration, documentation charges, and any market adjustment rather than relying only on the advertised MSRP.
  6. Verify incentives separately. Do not assume a federal or state incentive applies. Eligibility can depend on current law, vehicle qualifications, final assembly, buyer income, and the transaction date.

Bottom line: the 2026 Lexus ES 350e Premium is now the lineup’s price leader at $48,895, undercutting the ES 350h hybrid by $2,200 while offering a 307-mile EPA-estimated range and included basic charging equipment. The hybrid remains the simpler choice for shoppers without dependable charging access. The better value depends less on the badge or starting price than on how—and where—you drive.
