The 2026 KTM 1390 Super Duke R and R EVO are already confirmed models—not an unannounced next-generation bike. KTM’s U.S. listing gives the R EVO a 1,350 cm³ engine rated at 190 PS and 145 Nm, with a U.S. base MSRP of $22,149 before $800 freight. The separate 1390 Super Duke GT is the variant KTM says has been delayed to 2027 production.
Which KTM 1390 Super Duke is upcoming?
KTM lists the 2026 1390 Super Duke R EVO on its U.S. website, and its 2026 Duke-range announcement also names the 1390 Super Duke R. That means “upcoming” does not accurately describe the R or R EVO as an unannounced future generation. The timing news concerns the distinct 1390 Super Duke GT: KTM says its production has been delayed to 2027.
These are different variants with different source-backed details. The specifications and U.S. price below apply to the R EVO as listed for the United States; they should not be assumed to describe the R or the GT, or to represent another country’s specification.
What KTM confirms about the 2026 R EVO
Engine and transmission
KTM’s 2026 U.S. model page lists a 75-degree, two-cylinder, four-stroke engine with 1,350 cm³ displacement, rated at 190 PS and 145 Nm, paired with a six-speed transmission. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test measurements.

Suspension, modes and equipment
KTM identifies WP Semi-Active Suspension Technology as the defining addition on the R EVO compared with the 1390 Super Duke R. The U.S. page describes up to five ride modes: Street, Sport and Rain, with Performance and Track modes optional. KTM says Rain mode reduces output to 130 PS.
The same U.S. model page lists a 5-inch bonded-glass TFT display, a seat height of 834 mm (32.8 inches) and a fuel capacity of 17.5 liters (4.6 U.S. gallons). KTM notes that specifications can vary by country and may change without notice, so check the local-market listing before relying on any figure.

How much does the 2026 R EVO cost?
KTM’s U.S. listing gives the 2026 1390 Super Duke R EVO a base MSRP of $22,149, plus $800 freight. This is a U.S. manufacturer listing, not an out-the-door quote: it does not establish a buyer’s final dealer price, taxes, other charges or financing terms. KTM does not provide a global price in that listing.
What is the difference between the R and R EVO?
The clearest supported distinction is the EVO’s WP semi-active suspension. KTM’s Australia 2026 Duke-range announcement names both the 1390 Super Duke R and R EVO, and highlights semi-active suspension and rider aids for the EVO. It does not provide a complete side-by-side specification list, so it does not establish that suspension is their only difference or that all other equipment is identical. Compare the specifications for your market and model year before choosing between them.

When is the 1390 Super Duke GT coming?
KTM’s production update says the 1390 Super Duke GT’s production timing has moved to 2027. The announcement does not give an exact month or day, and a production schedule is not a confirmed dealership arrival date. It also does not announce a future R or R EVO generation.
