What changed for 2026?
Infiniti calls the QX60 refreshed. The changes span both its appearance and its equipment: a new grille with an illuminated emblem, revised segmented daytime-running lights and rear fascia, plus new paint and interior-finish options. The PURE grade now has standard 20-inch wheels; Infiniti’s announcement notes 18-inch wheels for the 2025 PURE.
The cabin gains standard dual 12.3-inch displays, with Google built-in—including Google Maps and Google Play—on the center display. Audio equipment varies by grade, and higher trims gain additional camera and driver-assistance features.

Is the powertrain new?
No. Infiniti lists a 2.0-liter variable-compression turbocharged four-cylinder, rated at 268 horsepower and 286 lb-ft of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The basic powertrain configuration is carried into 2026.
Infiniti says it updated the engine for 2026 based on client feedback, with changes intended to enhance sound quality in city, back-road and hilly driving. That is a manufacturer statement about the aim of the tuning, not proof of a particular improvement behind the wheel. The QX60 is a three-row SUV. Infiniti says versions with a second-row bench seat up to seven; SPORT and AUTOGRAPH have captain’s chairs and seat up to six. Equipment differences documented in the manufacturer announcement include audio, cameras, driver assistance and towing hardware.

What are the fuel economy, towing and cargo figures?
Infiniti’s published fuel-economy estimates distinguish the highway figure by drivetrain. These are manufacturer estimates, not results from a real-world fuel-economy test.

Infiniti gives a maximum towing rating of 6,000 pounds when the QX60 is properly equipped. SENSORY and AUTOGRAPH are listed with a tow hitch and 7-pin connector, along with Trailer Sway Control software. Confirm the rating for the exact vehicle and equipment before towing.
The manufacturer reports up to 75.4 cubic feet of cargo volume with the second and third rows folded. That is a published maximum, not an independent cargo measurement. If shopping for a cargo liner or other cargo-area accessory, verify fit for the specific model year and seating configuration; Infiniti’s 2026 inventory tool includes Cargo Package and Dark Cargo Package filters, but those filters do not establish fitment for a particular third-party item.

How strong is the QX60’s safety evidence?
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety lists the 2026 QX60 as a Top Safety Pick+. Its published component ratings are:
- Good: small overlap front, updated moderate overlap front, updated side, headlights and pedestrian front crash prevention.
- Acceptable: vehicle-to-vehicle front crash prevention for both the standard and optional systems.
- Good: seat belt reminders.
- Good+: ease of use for child-seat LATCH hardware.
The ratings have important test-provenance details. IIHS says the 2026 updated moderate-overlap test used a 2026 QX60 LUXE 4-door 4WD. It also notes that Nissan changed rear seat belts beginning with 2026 models to improve rear-occupant safety in moderate-overlap front crashes. For shoppers who want updated styling, larger standard displays, Google built-in and more differentiated trim equipment, the 2026 changes are meaningful. The new SPORT grade also offers a distinct dark appearance and captain’s-chair layout, though it gives up the bench seat’s seventh place and requires AWD.

The central reservation is that the refresh’s strongest case is equipment and presentation, not proven driving improvement. The engine remains a turbocharged four-cylinder paired with a nine-speed automatic, and Infiniti’s sound-quality tuning claim has not been independently assessed here. What does the 2026 QX60 cost?
A reliable complete official U.S. MSRP-by-trim table for the 2026 QX60 is not established by the available current sources. Infiniti’s model page now presents the 2027 model, while its 2026 inventory search shows dealer listings with varying figures that can include destination. Those listings are not a national base-price ladder. Request a dated quote for the exact trim and drivetrain rather than treating one dealer vehicle’s displayed price as the 2026 starting MSRP.
