What is new in the 2026 Elevate?
Revised exterior lighting and trim
The facelift brings a segmented LED daytime-running-light strip above the grille, a revised mesh grille with gloss-black finish, body-colour fog-lamp housings and a Honda badge moved to the leading edge of the bonnet. A new LED light bar connects the rear tail-lamps. The wheels carry over, while the body cladding changes from matte to gloss black. Nordic Forest Pearl is a new colour, offered in monotone and dual-tone forms. Autocar India’s launch report.

Cabin and comfort equipment
Front seats are power-adjustable and ventilated, and rear seats also gain ventilation—a feature the launch report describes as a segment first. Other additions include a 360-degree camera and capacitive-touch rear LED reading lamps. The dashboard uses more white leatherette padding and stitching in place of faux-wood trim. Ambient lighting, previously a dealer-level fitment, becomes a factory fitment on higher trims. Equipment is trim-dependent, so check the specification of the exact grade you are considering.
Features that depend on transmission or trim
CVT variants add an electronic parking brake with auto-hold and adaptive cruise control with low-speed-follow function. Front parking sensors and rear disc brakes are also reported additions. The launch report does not establish that every new feature is standard across the range; verify variant-level equipment with Honda or a dealer before booking.

Carried-over equipment and sound insulation
The 10.25-inch infotainment screen, semi-digital instrument cluster, single-pane sunroof, LaneWatch camera, six airbags, wireless charger and phone connectivity are reported as carried over. Honda says added sound-deadening material improves cabin sound insulation, but that claim has not been independently confirmed in a road test. Autocar India.
Engine, gearbox and claimed fuel economy
The facelift retains the 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, reported at 121hp and 145Nm. It is paired with a six-speed manual or a CVT; the entry SV is manual-only. Honda has not added the 1.5-litre strong-hybrid powertrain offered on the City to this Elevate update.

Autocar reports Honda-claimed fuel economy of 15.31kpl for the manual and 16.61kpl for the CVT. These are manufacturer claims, not independent real-world test results. Honda’s general specification page lists the 1.5L i-VTEC engine with CVT and six-speed manual, but it should not be read as documentation of every facelift detail. Honda has previously listed Elevate accessories including a drive-view recorder (DVR) and TPMS-linked accessories. That historical material does not confirm current facelift compatibility, availability or warranty. For any accessory, including a dash camera or tyre-pressure system, ask an authorised dealer to confirm fitment and the warranty that applies to the specific product. Honda’s September 2025 accessory release described a one-year warranty for certain named genuine grille and ambient-light options and supplier-supported two-year warranty for a third-party surround-view camera; those past terms are not evidence of current offers. - Compare the total price for the gearbox you want: the SV is not available with a CVT.
- Check which comfort and safety additions are included on the specific grade and transmission rather than assuming the top-trim equipment applies across the range.
- Ask a local dealer for an on-road quotation; the launch prices above exclude location-dependent charges.
- Review warranty eligibility and terms, and verify accessory compatibility separately.
The Elevate competes in India’s midsize-SUV segment alongside the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq and Maruti Grand Vitara. A useful comparison should match price, powertrain, equipment and safety for the versions being considered; launch specifications alone do not establish a comparative winner. Autocar India.
