What is the Honda CB1000GT?
The CB1000GT is Honda’s 2026 sport-touring motorcycle: a model intended to combine the power and handling character of a road-focused bike with equipment for longer rides. Honda says it is based on the CB1000 Hornet’s engine, but has CB1000GT-specific fuel-injection settings and throttle-by-wire calibration intended to smooth response when opening the throttle. Honda presents that tuning as a way to reduce fatigue on long journeys; independent ride-test evidence is not established here.
Honda introduced the model at EICMA in Milan on November 4, 2025. Its official concept phrase is “High Performance Tourer – going faster, farther with comfort –.” Honda Global’s announcement sets out the unveiling and concept.
How much power does the CB1000GT make?
Honda UK lists a liquid-cooled, DOHC 1,000cc inline-four producing 110.1kW at 11,000rpm and 102Nm of torque at 8,750rpm. These are manufacturer-published specifications for the UK 2026 model, not independent measurements. The UK specification also gives an 825mm seat height and a five-inch TFT display. Is the CB1000GT equipped for touring?

Honda Motor Europe’s announcement lists the following as standard equipment for the model in its European specification:
- Rear panniers
- Cruise control and heated grips
- Knuckle guards and a centre stand
- Quickshifter
- Showa Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment (EERA) suspension
- Cornering ABS using a six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU)
- Five-inch TFT with Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity
- Honda Smart Key and auto-cancelling indicators with Emergency Stop Signal

Comfort and weather protection
Honda describes an upright but dynamic riding position, seating for rider and pillion, vibration-dampening materials, aerodynamic bodywork and a screen adjustable to five positions. Those features indicate the intended touring focus, but Honda’s descriptions do not establish independent comfort, wind-protection or vibration results. The available specifications also do not establish tank capacity or a verified real-world touring range.
How much does the 2026 CB1000GT cost?
Honda UK lists the 2026 CB1000GT at £11,999. That is a UK manufacturer-listed price, not a global price or confirmation of current dealer pricing; check with a local Honda dealer for the price and specification applicable in your market. Honda’s UK release lists fuel consumption at 6L/100km, a manufacturer figure attributed to Honda Motor Europe in 2025. Honda’s announcement confirms the model’s EICMA world premiere, but the cited pages do not establish delivery timing for every country or confirm that it will be sold in every market. Availability therefore needs to be checked locally rather than inferred from the UK or European announcements.
