The current Genesis USA configurator lists the 2026 GV70 from $48,985 to $71,095, depending on trim. That is not the same starting price Genesis published in its March 2025 launch announcement, which said $47,985. The available official sources do not explain the $1,000 difference, so it should not be treated as a confirmed redesign premium or year-over-year increase.
2026 Genesis GV70 prices by trim
Genesis USA currently displays these starting MSRPs for the six 2026 GV70 trims. They are configurator prices, not dealer transaction quotes; the configurator lists freight separately in its example build summary and says its quotations can change and are not legally binding. Genesis’s U.S. configurator is the source for the figures below.
| Trim | Starting MSRP | Horsepower | Displayed city/highway fuel economy |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2.5T AWD | $48,985 | 300 hp | 20/28 mpg |
| 2.5T Select AWD | $51,885 | 300 hp | 20/28 mpg |
| 2.5T Advanced AWD | $56,435 | 300 hp | 20/28 mpg |
| 2.5T Sport Prestige AWD | $59,795 | 300 hp | 20/26 mpg |
| 3.5T Sport Advanced AWD | $64,415 | 375 hp | 18/25 mpg |
| 3.5T Sport Prestige AWD | $71,095 | 375 hp | 18/25 mpg |
Horsepower and fuel-economy numbers are the configurator’s listed figures, not independent test results. The prices are U.S. starting MSRPs. They do not establish local taxes, dealer fees, incentives, negotiated discounts, financing terms, or inventory availability.
Why the published starting prices differ
Genesis’s March 5, 2025 U.S. pricing announcement gave the 2026 GV70 a starting MSRP of $47,985. The current configurator lists the base 2.5T AWD at $48,985, a $1,000 gap between the two official figures. Neither source explains the discrepancy or provides a like-for-like prior-model comparison. It is therefore not evidence by itself of a $1,000 redesign premium or a verified increase over the preceding model year.

That is Genesis’s promotional characterization, not independent evidence of consumer preference.
What the 2026 redesign changes
Genesis described the GV70 update as the model’s first redesign in its April 2024 global announcement. The exterior changes it identified include a dual-weave G-Matrix Crest Grille, two-line headlamps using micro lens array (MLA) technology, a revised front bumper and air ducts, and rear turn signals moved from the bumper to the rear combination lamps. Genesis said moving the signals was intended to improve their visibility to other vehicles.

The current U.S. configurator lists a 27-inch OLED instrument cluster and navigation system in its shown base build, along with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
What the higher trims add
The price ladder reflects both equipment and, at the top, a more powerful engine. The configurator’s listed features help distinguish the steps, though buyers should verify the exact equipment on the current build page before choosing a vehicle.

How to judge the price at a dealership
If you are comparing offers, ask for the complete out-the-door figure for the same trim and equipment—not just a discount from MSRP. The official configurator establishes list prices and listed equipment, but it does not show what a particular dealer will charge or discount.
- Choose the exact trim and options in the Genesis configurator, then note the displayed MSRP and separately listed freight.
- Request a written dealer quote showing the vehicle price, freight, dealer-installed accessories, fees, taxes, and any incentives as separate line items.
- Compare quotes for the same configuration and purchase terms. A lower monthly payment alone does not show whether the vehicle price or financing terms are better.
- For wording such as “How much off MSRP on a 2026 GV70 2.5T Advanced?”, ask local dealers directly. Genesis’s published materials do not establish a typical discount.
Genesis’s configurator also provides a route to request a quote or test drive. The automaker reported that more than 200,000 GV70s had sold worldwide since the model debuted in December 2020; that is Genesis’s cumulative figure, not an independent market measure.
