Dodge’s 2026 Charger SIXPACK range brings back gasoline power under the Charger name with two trims: the standard-output R/T and high-output Scat Pack. Both use a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six, come standard with all-wheel drive, and offer two- and four-door body styles. The separately named Charger Daytona Scat Pack is battery-electric, not a SIXPACK trim.
What “SIXPACK” means for the 2026 Charger
SIXPACK identifies the gasoline-powered Charger models using Dodge’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six. The range’s two principal trims are the R/T and Scat Pack: R/T is the lower-output, lower-starting-price choice, while Scat Pack delivers more power and quicker Dodge-claimed acceleration.
The name also helps distinguish these cars from the all-electric Charger Daytona Scat Pack. Despite sharing “Scat Pack” in its name, the Daytona is a separate battery-electric model, not a gasoline SIXPACK version. R/T: the less expensive entry to gasoline Charger power
The R/T costs $5,000 less at the stated starting MSRP and makes 420 hp. Dodge describes it as a muscle car suited to everyday driving; CEO Matt McAlear also referred to its interior and cargo volume in those terms. Scat Pack: higher output and a premium-fuel requirement
The Scat Pack raises output to 550 hp and torque to 531 lb-ft. Dodge says its maximum SIXPACK high-output performance uses 91-octane premium fuel. The higher starting price buys a stronger factory output rating and quicker manufacturer-claimed acceleration; the figures alone do not establish how either car performs in real-world driving. Two doors or four?
Dodge offers both the R/T and Scat Pack as two-door or four-door Chargers. Its FAQ states that four-door configurations add $2,000 to the corresponding starting MSRP.

All-wheel drive and rear-drive mode
Dodge says all 2026 Charger models have all-wheel drive. For the gasoline R/T and Scat Pack, the FAQ says the system can send 100% of torque to the rear wheels on command. That gives the buyer AWD as the standard configuration with a selectable rear-drive mode; it does not make either SIXPACK model rear-wheel-drive-only. Dodge’s Charger FAQ
How the new output compares with earlier Chargers
Stellantis compares the 2026 gasoline trims with their predecessors: R/T output rises from 370 hp and 395 lb-ft to 420 hp and 468 lb-ft; Scat Pack rises from 485 hp and 475 lb-ft to 550 hp and 531 lb-ft.
