2026 Cadillac Electric SUVs Ranked: Which Model Fits Your Range, Rows, and Budget?

Cadillac’s 2026 electric-SUV range spans five base nameplates, from the compact five-seat OPTIQ to the full-size, three-row Escalade IQ and Escalade IQL. For most shoppers, the LYRIQ is the best all-around two-row choice; the VISTIQ is the practical pick when a third row is non-negotiable; and the OPTIQ is the lowest-entry-price option. The Escalade IQ has the longest published range, while the Escalade IQL adds a stretched three-row body.

The ranking below is an editorial fit ranking based on Cadillac’s published U.S. specifications, prices, seating, range estimates, charging information and utility. It is not an independent head-to-head road test, and real-world range, charging time and equipment vary with trim, wheels, weather, speed, load and route.

Quick ranking of every 2026 electric Cadillac SUV

Rank Model Published starting price Published range Seats Best fit
1 LYRIQ $59,200 Up to 326 miles RWD; 319 miles AWD with standard charging (EPA-estimated) 5 Best all-around two-row SUV
2 VISTIQ $77,395 305 miles with standard 11.5-kW charging; 300 miles with available 19.2-kW charging (EPA-estimated) Up to 7 Best three-row family choice
3 OPTIQ $49,995 Up to 317 miles RWD; 303 miles AWD (EPA-estimated) 5 Best smaller and lower-priced entry point
4 Escalade IQ $127,405 465 miles (Cadillac-estimated) 7 Best for maximum range and full-size presence
5 Escalade IQL $130,405 460 miles (Cadillac-estimated) 7 Best for a stretched Escalade-style cabin

These are manufacturer-listed starting prices, not quotes for a particular trim or vehicle. Destination charges, taxes, options, incentives and dealer inventory can change the amount you pay. Cadillac pages and search results can display mixed model years or “as shown” prices, so verify the model year and build configuration in the current configurator.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The order can change if you rank only by size, luxury positioning or advertised range. The Escalade models would lead a size-or-range list, while the OPTIQ would lead on entry price.

1. Cadillac LYRIQ: the best default for most two-row buyers

The 2026 LYRIQ earns the top overall position because it combines a relatively accessible Cadillac price with strong EPA-estimated range and useful five-seat space. It starts at $59,200, seats five and offers a 33-inch Horizon Display. Rear-wheel drive reaches up to 326 miles EPA-estimated; all-wheel drive with the standard charging setup is listed at 319 miles.

Why it ranks first

  • Balanced range: The RWD figure is the highest EPA-estimated range among the regular five-seat models listed here.
  • Everyday cargo: Cadillac lists 28 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 60.8 cubic feet with the rear seats folded.
  • Towing: A 3,500-pound towing capacity is listed, subject to the required equipment and configuration.
  • Charging: Public DC fast charging is listed at up to 190 kW. Cadillac also says an included 7.7-kW dual-level cord can be used with appropriate outlets.

Choose the LYRIQ when you need two rows, want more cargo flexibility than a compact crossover and do not need the VISTIQ’s third row. AWD can add traction but slightly reduces the published range versus RWD. Confirm the exact wheel, tire and charging configuration before ordering.

2. Cadillac VISTIQ: the three-row choice

The VISTIQ is the clearest answer to “Which electric Cadillac has three rows?” It starts at $77,395 and seats up to seven. Cadillac lists a 102-kWh battery, 5,000-pound towing capacity and 15.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Range and charging differences

With its standard 11.5-kW onboard charger, the VISTIQ is rated at 305 miles EPA-estimated. Cadillac lists 300 miles with the available 19.2-kW onboard charger. The higher-power charger can increase the vehicle’s AC charging rate only when the home installation and electrical service can supply it; an onboard charger does not make a lower-rated wall unit charge faster.

For road trips, Cadillac lists up to 190-kW public DC fast charging. The VISTIQ uses a CCS1 charge port. Cadillac references an available GM-approved NACS DC adapter for access to compatible Tesla Superchargers, but connector compatibility, authorization, station availability and the exact adapter approved for your vehicle should be confirmed before purchase.

  • Easy Installation and Full Coverage: Installing this sunshade is a breeze, thanks to its custom fit design that effortlessly covers the entire windshield, leaving no gaps for sunlight to seep through; Protecting your car's interior has never been easier or more effective

Who should choose it

Pick the VISTIQ if the third row is used often, you tow more than the LYRIQ’s listed 3,500 pounds or need a seven-seat layout. Its 15.2 cubic feet behind the last row is more useful for everyday family gear than a nominal third row with almost no cargo room. If you rarely carry more than five people, the LYRIQ provides a less expensive two-row alternative.

3. Cadillac OPTIQ: the smaller, lower-cost entry point

The OPTIQ is Cadillac’s compact-feeling electric SUV and the lowest-priced model in this group. The 2026 lineup page lists a $49,995 starting price. It seats five, uses an 85-kWh battery and has a J3400/NACS charge port.

Published range and utility

Rear-wheel-drive OPTIQ models reach up to 317 miles EPA-estimated, while AWD versions are listed at up to 303 miles. Cadillac lists as much as 57 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded. Those figures make the OPTIQ attractive for buyers who want a premium badge and long-trip potential without moving to a larger, more expensive SUV.

Cadillac describes the OPTIQ as supporting Level 1, Level 2 and DC fast charging. Its materials claim access through myCadillac to more than 250,000 public chargers in the United States and Canada, including more than 29,000 Tesla Superchargers. Those are Cadillac’s current network-access claims; the number of available stations and the stations usable by a specific vehicle can change by location, connector, account status and date.

Trade-offs versus the LYRIQ

The OPTIQ costs less to start and is easier to place in a city-sized parking space, but the LYRIQ has a slightly higher maximum EPA range, more listed cargo volume and a larger two-row footprint. Compare the actual trims rather than only the base MSRPs: options, AWD, wheel sizes and packages can narrow or reverse the price difference.

4. Cadillac Escalade IQ: longest advertised range

The Escalade IQ is the full-size electric flagship. Cadillac lists seven seats, a $127,405 starting price and 465 miles of Cadillac-estimated range. That 465-mile figure is not an EPA estimate, so it should not be compared as if it were measured on the same label as the LYRIQ, OPTIQ or VISTIQ figures.

What sets it apart

  • Scale: It delivers the largest body and most imposing road presence in the lineup.
  • Range claim: The 465-mile Cadillac estimate is the highest published figure for any electric Cadillac SUV here.
  • Cabin technology: Cadillac advertises a 55-inch Horizon Display.
  • Maneuverability: Four-wheel steering is listed, a useful feature for a large SUV in tight spaces.

The Escalade IQ makes sense for buyers who want maximum size, a seven-seat cabin and the highest advertised driving range, and who accept a starting price above $127,000. Because Cadillac’s figure is an estimate rather than an EPA rating, obtain the final window-sticker rating for the exact configuration when comparing operating plans or road-trip distances.

5. Cadillac Escalade IQL: the stretched three-row alternative

The Escalade IQL starts at $130,405 and is marketed as the long-wheelbase, three-row version of the electric Escalade format. Cadillac lists seven seats and 460 miles of Cadillac-estimated range—five miles below the Escalade IQ’s published estimate.

The IQL is the logical choice when rear-passenger room and the stretched body matter more than achieving the absolute highest advertised range. Its price premium over the IQ is $3,000 before destination, options and other charges. As with the IQ, the 460-mile number is a Cadillac estimate, not an EPA figure.

Charging connector and adapter details

The Escalade IQL uses a CCS1 charging port. Cadillac says an available GM-approved NACS DC adapter enables access to more than 29,000 Tesla Superchargers. Confirm the adapter’s current model, vehicle compatibility and station eligibility before buying; not every CCS-to-NACS adapter or charging site is approved for every vehicle.

Base SUVs versus V-Series performance models

LYRIQ-V and OPTIQ-V are performance variants within the LYRIQ and OPTIQ lines, not additional base SUV nameplates. Their range and prices should be considered separately from the standard models.

2026 LYRIQ-V

The LYRIQ-V starts at $78,595. Cadillac lists 615 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque in Velocity Max, with a Cadillac-estimated 0-to-60-mph time of 3.3 seconds and 285 miles of EPA-estimated range. Cadillac calls it “The quickest Cadillac ever,” which is a manufacturer superlative rather than an independent test result.

Compared with the regular LYRIQ, the V model trades some range and adds substantial performance hardware and cost. It is for buyers who prioritize acceleration and chassis tuning over the standard model’s 326-mile maximum range.

2026 OPTIQ-V

Official OPTIQ specifications list 519 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque in Velocity Max. The retrieved specification information lists 278 miles with standard 11.5-kW charging and 250 miles when equipped with the available Charging and Convenience Package 2. Confirm the trim and package combination on the current build page because OPTIQ specification pages can also display base-model range figures.

Which electric Cadillac SUV has the longest range?

On Cadillac’s published numbers, the Escalade IQ has the longest advertised range at 465 miles, followed by the Escalade IQL at 460 miles. Both are Cadillac estimates. Among the EPA-estimated figures, the LYRIQ RWD leads the regular models at 326 miles, followed by the OPTIQ RWD at 317 miles and the VISTIQ at 305 miles with its standard charger.

Do not combine those figures into one definitive leaderboard without preserving the test-label distinction. EPA-estimated and manufacturer-estimated ranges use different rating references, and actual driving can be lower or higher.

Is the LYRIQ or VISTIQ bigger?

The VISTIQ is the larger, three-row vehicle and seats up to seven; the LYRIQ is a five-seat, two-row SUV. The VISTIQ also lists 15.2 cubic feet behind its third row and a 5,000-pound towing capacity. The LYRIQ lists 28 cubic feet behind its second row, 60.8 cubic feet maximum with the seats folded and 3,500 pounds of towing. Choose based on passenger count and cargo arrangement, not only exterior size.

How to choose among the five models

  1. Set the seating requirement. If you regularly carry six or seven people, start with VISTIQ, Escalade IQ or Escalade IQL. Otherwise compare OPTIQ and LYRIQ.
  2. Set the budget using an equipped vehicle. Begin with the published MSRP, then add destination, AWD, wheel, interior and charging options. Prices shown above are not transaction quotes.
  3. Choose the range standard you trust. Compare EPA figures with EPA figures. Keep the Escalade models’ Cadillac estimates in a separate column when planning trips.
  4. Decide between efficiency and performance. RWD generally has the highest listed range within a model line; V-Series versions emphasize acceleration and list lower range than their base counterparts.
  5. Match charging to your home. Check the vehicle’s onboard AC rating, the EVSE’s output, circuit capacity and whether installation requires an electrician or utility upgrade.
  6. Verify public connector access. OPTIQ uses J3400/NACS. VISTIQ and Escalade IQL use CCS1 and may require an approved NACS DC adapter for compatible Tesla Superchargers. Verify current approval and station status.
  7. Check towing and cargo needs. The VISTIQ’s listed 5,000 pounds exceeds the LYRIQ’s 3,500 pounds, while the LYRIQ publishes more specific two-row cargo figures.

Charging considerations before ordering

AC charging speed is limited by the lower capability of the vehicle’s onboard charger and the installed EVSE. A 19.2-kW onboard charger is an available upgrade on some models, but it delivers that rate only with suitable home equipment and electrical service. A standard household outlet, a 7.7-kW dual-level cord and a hard-wired Level 2 installation produce very different charging times.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

For DC fast charging, the LYRIQ and VISTIQ pages list up to 190 kW. Peak power is not a constant rate: battery state of charge, temperature, charger sharing and the vehicle’s charging curve determine how long a session takes. Treat network counts, adapter availability and connector support as time-sensitive information and verify them for the exact vehicle and route.

Important buying caveats for 2026

  • Model-year selectors, incentives, inventory and “as shown” prices can change after a page is published.
  • Range varies by drivetrain, wheel and tire package, temperature, speed, terrain and payload.
  • Published seating capacities describe the vehicle’s rated layout; comfort and cargo usability depend on occupant size and seat position.
  • Charging access is not the same as charging equipment being included. Confirm whether a cord, adapter or home installation is part of the transaction.
  • Always obtain the final window sticker and written equipment list for the vehicle identification number you intend to buy.

Bottom line

Buy the LYRIQ for the strongest blend of price, EPA-estimated range, cargo space and familiar two-row utility. Choose the VISTIQ when seven seats, 5,000-pound towing and usable third-row cargo matter. Select the OPTIQ for the lowest starting price and a smaller footprint. The Escalade IQ is the range-and-presence flagship, while the Escalade IQL is the stretched alternative for buyers who want maximum three-row space and accept a slightly lower advertised range.
