What do the prices include?
The listed MSRP is not an out-the-door price. Volkswagen’s technical sheets show a $1,550 destination charge for the 2025 Pro S and 1st Edition with 4MOTION. That brings those two examples to $61,545 and $71,545, respectively, before taxes, title, options, or dealer charges. The technical sheets do not establish destination-inclusive totals for every trim, so those examples should not be applied across the lineup.

Volkswagen says actual dealer pricing may vary. For a purchase, check the specific vehicle’s model year, equipment, destination charge, inventory status, and dealer quote rather than treating MSRP as the amount due.
Why does the title refer to 2024?
The prices were documented in a guide marked week 34 of 2024, but they apply to the 2025 U.S. model-year ID. Buzz. The reviewed sources do not establish the exact public announcement date. Volkswagen’s U.S. ID. Buzz page continues to show a $59,995 starting MSRP for its 2025 model page, while its configurator displays the five listed variants; availability and prices can change.

What changes between the trims?
The price ladder reflects both trim and drivetrain. Pro S and 1st Edition are listed with rear-wheel drive; Pro S Plus and 1st Edition are also listed with 4MOTION all-wheel-drive versions. The 4MOTION versions carry higher starting MSRPs than their corresponding rear-wheel-drive trim listings.
