The 2025 Toyota SUV and crossover lineup in the U.S. spans nine nameplates, from the compact Corolla Cross to the full-size Sequoia. The biggest confirmed change is the redesigned, sixth-generation 4Runner; selected updates also include a new RAV4 grade and changes to the bZ4X. Toyota’s 2026 RAV4 redesign belongs to the next model year, not the 2025 lineup.
Which Toyota SUVs are available for 2025?
Toyota USA’s 2025 catalog lists nine SUV and crossover nameplates. Several also come in electrified versions, so the nameplate count is not the same as the number of powertrain choices.

Those figures depend on the specific vehicle and configuration.
What changed for the 2025 Toyota SUVs?
The available model-year information supports a major redesign for the 4Runner and specific changes for the RAV4 and bZ4X. It does not establish that every Toyota SUV was redesigned or provide a complete model-by-model update list.

4Runner: a sixth-generation redesign
Toyota’s December 10, 2024 announcement described the 2025 4Runner as an all-new, sixth-generation model. It introduced a 2.4-liter turbo i-FORCE engine and an available 2.4-liter i-FORCE MAX hybrid. Toyota listed output of up to 278 horsepower and 317 lb.-ft. of torque for i-FORCE, and up to 326 horsepower and 465 lb.-ft. for i-FORCE MAX. These are Toyota’s manufacturer specifications from the announcement, not independent test results.
The 2025 lineup also introduced the Trailhunter and Platinum grades as firsts for the 4Runner. Toyota said the Trailhunter is available only with i-FORCE MAX and equipped it for overlanding with an ARB roof rack, Old Man Emu shocks, a high-mount air intake, 33-inch Toyo tires, an onboard air compressor, and RIGID Industries fog lamps. These are factory-equipped items Toyota identified for that grade; they do not establish that the named accessories fit other model years or trims.

RAV4: keep 2025 separate from the 2026 redesign
Toyota’s 2025 RAV4 overview lists four gas-model grades, with front-wheel drive, all-wheel drive, or Dynamic Torque Vectoring AWD varying by grade. bZ4X: Nightshade grade and Limited driver-assistance features
Toyota’s 2025 bZ4X overview identifies Nightshade as a new grade. It also lists Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Change Assist, and Front Cross Traffic Alert for Limited grade. Toyota’s overview makes those features subject to an active Drive Connect trial or subscription and a 4G network connection. How to choose among the 2025 Toyota SUVs
Start with how you will use the vehicle, then check the exact grade and powertrain. The catalog’s nameplate list alone cannot tell you whether a particular configuration has the space, capability, or equipment you need.

- Confirm the model year, grade, powertrain, and drivetrain on the specific vehicle—not just the model name.
- Check current specifications, availability, pricing, and dealer inventory with Toyota or the selling dealer. Toyota’s 4Runner release gave an announcement-era starting MSRP of $40,770 plus $1,450 delivery processing and handling and anticipated early-2025 on-sale timing; those historical details are not current pricing or proof of present inventory.
- For a 4Runner roof rack or other accessory, verify fitment for the exact year, grade, and rail or rack interface, along with load limits. A factory rack listing does not prove compatibility of a third-party rack.
