The 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 arrived in two configurations: the rear-wing GT3 and the more understated 911 GT3 with Touring Package. Porsche’s October 2024 announcement described the pair as distinct takes on the car, but its current U.S. configurator identifies 2027 models—not a live 2025 build. The old headline is therefore a useful guide to the choices that defined the 2025 GT3, not confirmation that you can still order one through Porsche’s configurator.
What the 2025 GT3 configurator let you choose
Porsche’s 2025 announcement centered on two versions of the GT3: one with a prominent rear wing and one with the Touring Package’s more understated rear profile. Both shared the naturally aspirated 4.0-liter boxer engine, rated by Porsche at 502 hp and 331 lb-ft. Those are manufacturer specifications for the announced model, not independent test results. Porsche’s October 18, 2024 announcement also described revised styling and aerodynamic changes.
Rear-wing GT3
The standard GT3 is the more overtly track-focused expression, with a fixed rear wing and a purposeful visual profile. Porsche introduced the Weissach Package as a GT3 option for the first time with this generation, positioning it as a weight-saving, track-use configuration.
GT3 with Touring Package
The Touring keeps the GT3’s performance focus but trades the large rear wing for a more restrained rear appearance. Porsche says rear seats became an option for the first time on the 2025 GT3 with Touring Package; that detail is listed on the 911 GT3 Touring model-range page.

Which choices matter most when speccing a GT3?
Transmission: PDK or manual
Transmission is a major decision: Porsche’s current U.S. GT3 page lists a seven-speed PDK and a six-speed GT Sport manual. The current page calls the manual a no-cost option and says it is 37 lb lighter than the PDK. Those are current-page details checked in 2026, not confirmed 2025 ordering terms; availability and pricing can vary by model year and market. Check the live, market-specific configurator before treating any transmission choice as available on a particular car. Porsche brand ambassador Walter Röhrl said of the updated car: “Particularly on winding country roads, you can clearly feel that the steering is even better tuned than its predecessor,” says Porsche brand ambassador Walter Röhrl. “It instils even greater confidence in the car because it responds with more composure from the center position without losing any of its directness. The shorter gear ratios also significantly enhance driving pleasure on country roads.” This is a manufacturer-published endorsement, not an independent review.
Weight-saving hardware and wheels
The Weissach Package is the named weight-saving, track-use route in Porsche’s materials. Porsche’s current U.S. page also describes carbon-fiber-reinforced-plastic components and optional lightweight magnesium wheels associated with Weissach. The same page lists forged aluminum wheel options. Exact equipment and package contents can differ by model year, so verify the build sheet for the car you are configuring.

Brakes
Porsche lists standard brakes and optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) on its current GT3 detail page. The cited material does not establish a 2025 U.S. option price for PCCB, so it is not possible to give a reliable historical price here.
Can you still spec a 2025 GT3?
Porsche’s current U.S. overview lists 2027 911 models. It does not present a 2025 GT3 configurator, and the official sources do not establish when the 2025 configurator went live or preserve its historical U.S. option-by-option pricing. If you want to build a current car, start with Porsche’s U.S. 911 configurator and select the model year and version it currently offers. For a 2025 car, check dealer inventory or ask an authorized Porsche dealer about an existing vehicle; a past configurator does not establish present production, allocation, or availability.

What does a current U.S. GT3 cost?
Porsche’s U.S. overview, checked October 7, 2026, lists a starting MSRP of $235,800 for both the 2027 GT3 and 2027 GT3 with Touring Package. That is not the 2025 base price. The listed amount excludes options, taxes, title, registration, delivery, processing and handling, dealer charges, and potential tariffs; Porsche says the dealer sets the actual selling price. See the current model-year overview for the applicable U.S. listing.
