The 2025 Polaris RZR Pro range includes three distinct side-by-side lines: the race-inspired Pro R, wide-open Pro S, and trail-oriented Pro XP. Polaris announced US starting MSRPs from $23,999 to $42,999, depending on model and trim. Those are launch prices from August 2024—not current dealer quotes. No independent first-drive measurements are established here, so performance figures below are Polaris specifications or claims, not test results.

What does “RZR Pro” mean for 2025?

“RZR Pro” is a family name covering the Pro R, Pro S, and Pro XP, rather than one vehicle or trim. Polaris positions them for different uses: the Pro R is its race-inspired model, the Pro S is aimed at wide-open riding, and the Pro XP is presented as the trail machine. These are the manufacturer’s descriptions, not independent comparative findings. Polaris announced the 2025 lineup on August 2, 2024.

How much did a 2025 Polaris RZR Pro cost?

The following figures are Polaris’s announced starting MSRPs for the US and Canada in August 2024. They are historical launch prices, not current dealer pricing, out-the-door costs, or confirmation of inventory.

Model Trim US starting MSRP Canada starting price
RZR Pro XP Sport $23,999 $28,999
RZR Pro XP Premium $27,999 $34,499
RZR Pro XP Ultimate $33,999 $40,999
RZR Pro S Sport $26,999 $32,999
RZR Pro S Premium $30,999 $38,499
RZR Pro S Ultimate $36,999 $45,799
RZR Pro R Sport $34,999 $43,999
RZR Pro R Ultimate $42,999 $52,999

Polaris announced two- and four-seat versions across all three model lines. Pro XP and Pro S were offered in Sport, Premium, and Ultimate trims; Pro R was offered in Sport and Ultimate. The launch announcement said 2025 Pro models would begin shipping to dealers in August 2024.

What is the difference between the Pro R, Pro S, and Pro XP?

Line Polaris’s stated role 2025 trims announced Seat configurations announced
Pro R Race-inspired toughness Sport, Ultimate Two- and four-seat
Pro S Wide-open riding Sport, Premium, Ultimate Two- and four-seat
Pro XP Trail riding Sport, Premium, Ultimate Two- and four-seat

The announcement establishes Polaris’s positioning, trim availability, and seating choices; it does not provide independent evidence that one line handles better or is faster than another. A buyer comparing specific vehicles should also check the exact trim’s equipment rather than assuming that features shown on one product page apply to every Pro model.

2025 RZR Pro XP specs and performance claims

Polaris listed the 2025 Pro XP with a 181-hp turbocharged engine, 64-inch width, and 96-inch wheelbase. The company said peak power arrives in the 20-to-50-mph range, and described the machine as having fast on-demand AWD. It also said the 2025 Pro XP uses a lower low gear from the Pro S transmission. These figures and descriptions come from Polaris’s 2024 announcement; they are not independently measured acceleration, braking, suspension, or comparison results.

What changed for the 2025 Pro models?

Polaris announced new patent-pending fresh cabin-air intakes for the Pro R, Pro S, and Pro XP. The company said the intakes work with radiator deflectors and dual hood scoops to direct fresh air into the cab and reduce cabin temperature. That is the stated design purpose; the announcement does not provide an independently measured temperature reduction.

Does the 2025 RZR Pro XP have a touchscreen?

The 2025 Pro XP Ultimate product page lists a 7-inch RIDE COMMAND glove-touch display. Polaris describes features including DYNAMIX 2.0 visualization, built-in GPS, group ride, topographic mapping, and Bluetooth and USB smartphone connectivity. This is a trim-specific example, not evidence that the same display or equipment is standard on every Pro model. Polaris notes that accessory speakers are required for AM/FM and weather-radio audio. See the 2025 RZR Pro XP Ultimate product page for its listed equipment.

Accessories and fitment: check the exact vehicle

Polaris’s 2025 RZR accessories catalog includes items for Pro R, Pro S, and Pro XP, such as windshields and rear panels, roofs and cab accessories, protection, storage, mirrors, harnesses, and winches. Examples include windshield products beginning on catalog page 8; GatorStep armrest pads and roof liners on page 9; rock sliders and bumpers on page 10; cargo boxes and a spare-tire carrier on page 12; and six-point harness kits on page 13.

Catalog coverage does not mean every part fits every RZR Pro. Before buying—whether through a dealer or a retailer listing such as a “2025 Polaris RZR Pro S windshield” search—confirm the model year, exact line, and two- or four-seat configuration against the product’s fitment information.

Is there a 2025 RZR Pro first-drive verdict?

The available facts support a model-line buying comparison, not a hands-on review: the lineup, launch MSRPs, manufacturer-listed Pro XP specifications, stated design changes, and one trim-specific display example. They do not establish independent road or trail impressions, measured performance, or a direct test of the three lines. Choose among them by the intended riding role Polaris assigns, seating configuration, trim, and verified equipment; use a current dealer quote for what a particular vehicle costs now.
