The 2025 New York International Auto Show brought a mix of new production vehicles, a concept, special editions and first-time auto-show appearances to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. This gallery focuses on the best-documented highlights—and labels each one by what actually happened: a global debut, a North American debut or a show appearance.
New production vehicles revealed in New York
Subaru Trailseeker: global debut
Subaru’s all-new 2026 Trailseeker electric SUV made its global debut at the show on April 16, 2025. The designation matters: this was presented as the vehicle’s first worldwide reveal, not simply a New York-area appearance. NYIAS’s press-release archive announced the debut.
Subaru Outback and Outback Wilderness: world debut
Subaru also introduced the all-new 2026 Outback and Outback Wilderness at the show. NYIAS described the reveal as a world debut. The Outback Wilderness was identified alongside the new Outback, rather than as a separate unrelated debut. The event’s announcement archive lists the reveal.
Hyundai Palisade: North American debut
The all-new 2026 Hyundai Palisade made its North American debut in New York, with a media-day reveal scheduled for April 16. That makes the show the venue for its first presentation in this region; the announcement does not establish a worldwide debut. NYIAS’s announcement specifies the regional debut.

Kia: new models announced, full lineup not established
Kia said three significant new models would debut on April 16. NYIAS’s archive separately identifies the official debut of the 2026 K4 Hatchback and lists a Kia Solterra debut release. Those records do not, by themselves, establish a complete and reliable list of all three models, so this gallery does not treat the two named vehicles as an exhaustive lineup. The NYIAS archive contains the event entries.
Concept and special-edition vehicles
Genesis X Gran Equator Concept
Genesis displayed the X Gran Equator Concept at the Javits Center. NYIAS described it as the brand’s first adventure-vehicle concept. It is a design exploration, not an announced production model. NYIAS’s event material identifies the concept and its display.
Rank #2
Jeep Wagoneer Overland Special Edition
The Jeep Wagoneer Overland Special Edition appeared in NYIAS’s show-debut announcement. The evidence identifies it as a special edition, not an all-new model. The event archive lists Jeep’s announcement.
Toyota GR Supra MkV Final Edition and GR86 Yuzu Special Edition
Toyota said both special editions would appear at the show, but neither should be labeled a New York world premiere. The GR Supra MkV Final Edition had already appeared at the Grand Prix of Long Beach; New York was its first auto-show appearance. The GR86 Yuzu Special Edition had also debuted earlier that month. Toyota’s distinction is a show appearance, not a fresh debut of both vehicles in New York. Toyota’s newsroom described their appearances.

| 2026 Subaru Trailseeker | Global debut |
| 2026 Subaru Outback and Outback Wilderness | World debut |
| 2026 Hyundai Palisade | North American debut |
| Kia announcements | Three models announced for April 16; the full trio is not established by the available event entries |
| Genesis X Gran Equator Concept | Concept displayed at the show |
| Jeep Wagoneer Overland Special Edition | Show-debut announcement for a special edition |
| Toyota GR Supra MkV Final Edition | First auto-show appearance in New York after Long Beach |
| Toyota GR86 Yuzu Special Edition | Show appearance after an earlier debut that month |
A debut label describes the kind of first a vehicle made at the event. A global or world debut is not interchangeable with a regional debut, and neither is the same as an auto-show appearance after an earlier reveal.

The 2025 event marked the New York International Auto Show’s 125th anniversary at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Its floor also included experiences and anniversary displays, including a Chrysler centennial display, Camp Jeep and EV test-track rides. These added to the show visit but were not new-vehicle debuts. Stellantis’s event release describes those activities; NYIAS provides the anniversary context.
