Hyundai’s owner FAQ says the native-NACS 2025 IONIQ 5’s maximum Tesla Supercharger rate is 125 kW “at this time.” The FAQ also lists V3 and V4 compatibility configurations and station/version constraints, so treat that rate as time-sensitive rather than a permanent network-wide promise. For home charging, confirm electrical capacity, installation requirements, connector and charge-rate compatibility before choosing a Level 2 setup.
Hyundai says the included CCS adapter is complimentary and advises using adapters with CSA or UL certification. Its FAQ warns that damage caused by non-Hyundai accessories is not covered by the Hyundai warranty; ask a Hyundai dealer about a replacement rather than assuming an arbitrary third-party adapter is suitable.

What changed for the 2025 model year?
Hyundai’s 2024 announcement describes a larger battery in both standard- and long-range configurations, the factory NACS port, and an included CCS adapter. The refresh also adds a rear windshield wiper and washer, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, revised HVAC controls and center console, restyled bumpers and spoiler, and new colors and wheel designs. Equipment such as heated rear seats varies by trim.
What the XRT adds
The new XRT is AWD-only. Hyundai lists all-terrain tires, Snow, Sand and Mud Terrain Modes, front tow hooks, a 23 mm suspension lift, 7.0-inch ground clearance and XRT-specific styling. These features distinguish it as the lineup’s adventure-oriented version, but they do not establish off-road capability equivalent to a dedicated body-on-frame vehicle.
