How much does the 2025 Ford Maverick cost?
Ford’s 2025 model selector displayed these starting prices when accessed October 7, 2026. They are manufacturer-listed starting prices, not dealer quotes or out-the-door prices; options, destination charges, incentives, inventory and dealer pricing can change the amount a shopper pays. Check Ford’s model selector and confirm current local pricing before buying.

These figures differ from Ford’s July 31, 2024 launch announcement, which gave a historical launch MSRP of $26,295 plus $1,595 destination and delivery. That launch figure is not the current selector pricing. Ford’s announcement provides the original context.
Which 2025 Maverick trim fits your needs?
Ford lists five trims: XL, XLT, Lobo, Lariat and Tremor. The lineup ranges from a practical core model to versions focused on comfort, performance or off-road use. Standard and optional equipment depends on the selected configuration; check the exact vehicle’s window sticker.

What engines, drivetrains and transmissions are available?
The 2025 Maverick is offered with a 2.5-liter hybrid or a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine. The hybrid is available with front-wheel drive (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD), depending on trim. EcoBoost configurations use AWD or advanced four-wheel drive, depending on trim and setup; Lobo and Tremor are EcoBoost models.

- Hybrid: Ford’s 2025 order guide lists 191 horsepower and 155 lb-ft of torque. Hybrid models use a power-split electronically controlled continuously variable transmission.
- EcoBoost: Ford’s order guide lists 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. EcoBoost configurations use an eight-speed automatic, except the Lobo AWD configuration, which uses a seven-speed Quick Shift transmission.

Ford’s April 28, 2025 order guide gives the following 50-state fuel-economy ratings. Each rating is tied to its drivetrain and transmission; actual fuel use varies with driving and conditions.

Ford’s 2025 page advertises 42 mpg city for the FWD hybrid and identifies 40 mpg city as the targeted estimate for the AWD hybrid. Those are distinct configurations, not competing ratings. The full configuration-specific figures are in Ford’s order guide.
How much can the 2025 Maverick tow and carry?
Ford lists 2,000 pounds as the standard maximum loaded trailer weight and up to 4,000 pounds with the available 4K Tow Package on eligible configurations. The 4K package is available on hybrid AWD, excluding Tremor, according to Ford’s launch announcement. Maximum towing depends on configuration, passengers, cargo and accessories, so verify the rating for the specific truck before towing.

Ford advertises maximum payload of 1,500 pounds for specified configurations, subject to exclusions and configuration caveats. Ford lists the bed as 54.4 inches long at the floor, 53.3 inches wide between the sidewalls and 42.6 inches wide between the wheelhouses. FLEXBED provides segmented cargo capability, tie-down points and a multi-position tailgate. A 400-watt Pro Power Onboard feature is available. Confirm the equipment on the individual truck, since availability depends on configuration.
