Chevrolet says the 2025 Corvette ZR1 with the ZTK Performance Package reaches 60 mph in 2.3 seconds and completes the quarter-mile in 9.6 seconds. For the standard ZR1, Chevrolet lists 2.5 seconds to 60 mph and a 9.7-second quarter-mile. These are Chevrolet-published closed-course results, not independently verified test figures.
2025 Corvette ZR1 acceleration figures
| Configuration | 0–60 mph | Quarter-mile elapsed time | Quarter-mile trap speed | Tires | Stated test conditions |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ZR1 with ZTK Performance Package | 2.3 seconds | 9.6 seconds | Chevrolet says 2 mph slower than the standard-aero ZR1; an exact figure is not stated in the announcement. | Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R | Closed course; 93-octane pump fuel; non-prepped drag-strip surface; timing based on initial vehicle movement. |
| Standard-aero ZR1 | 2.5 seconds | 9.7 seconds | 152 mph | Not stated in Chevrolet’s announcement. | Closed course; 93-octane pump fuel; non-prepped drag-strip surface; timing based on initial vehicle movement. |
Chevrolet announced the results on December 19, 2024, and repeated the ZTK-equipped figures in its January 9, 2025 pricing announcement. The comparison is based on the manufacturer’s reporting; the announcements do not provide an independent instrumented test.
What the ZTK result does—and does not—show
The ZTK car is quicker to 60 mph and through the quarter-mile
Against Chevrolet’s standard-ZR1 figures, the ZTK-equipped car is 0.2 seconds quicker to 60 mph and 0.1 seconds quicker over the quarter-mile. Chevrolet attributes the launch advantage to the ZTK car’s tires and says standard Launch Control and Custom Launch Control manage launch behavior. The package also includes the high-downforce Carbon Fiber Aero Package.
The standard-aero car has the higher trap speed
Chevrolet reports a 152 mph quarter-mile trap speed for the standard-aero ZR1, 2 mph higher than for the ZTK-equipped car. Elapsed time and trap speed describe different parts of a run: the ZTK car’s reported advantage is in getting through the quarter-mile sooner, while the standard-aero car crossed the finish at a higher speed. The figures do not mean the ZTK package is faster in every measure.

How to interpret Chevrolet’s test figures
Chevrolet says the runs were made on a closed course, with 93-octane pump fuel on a non-prepped drag-strip surface, and that acceleration timing began at initial vehicle movement. The ZTK car’s Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires are part of the reported setup. Those details help define the conditions behind the claims; they are not a guarantee that another car will reproduce the times. Chevrolet’s explanation of the launch advantage is the manufacturer’s account, not a controlled comparison conducted independently.
The results were published by Chevrolet, not established here through a separate road test. Treat them as the manufacturer’s stated performance figures rather than independent instrumented results.

Powertrain behind the numbers
Chevrolet lists the ZR1’s 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged LT7 V8 at 1,064 hp at 7,000 rpm and 828 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 rpm, measured under SAE guidelines. These are the manufacturer’s engine specifications, separate from the acceleration-run conditions.
