Audi USA lists a starting price of $125,300 for the 2025 S8. This is the manufacturer’s starting price, not a quote for a configured car or a guarantee of the price a buyer will pay. Options, dealer pricing, destination charges and availability can affect the final cost. Current dealer transaction prices and live inventory are not established here. New Zealand pricing
For comparison, Audi New Zealand lists a MY25 maximum retail price of NZ$277,990. That price includes 15% GST and excludes on-road costs, so it is not directly comparable to the U.S. starting price. German-market technical data
Audi’s German-market 2025 technical sheet specifies a 3,996 cc V8 producing 420 kW (571 PS) and 800 Nm. It also lists an eight-speed tiptronic transmission and quattro drive. These are German-market figures, not replacements for the U.S. headline ratings. Audi MediaCenter’s 2025 S8 technical data
New Zealand-market performance
Audi New Zealand’s MY25 sheet lists 420 kW, 800 Nm and 0–100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. The acceleration figure uses kilometres per hour and a different stated measure from the U.S. 0–60 mph claim; treat the figures as market-specific rather than as a direct test comparison. What to keep in mind when comparing figures
- Check the market: the U.S., German and New Zealand sources report figures for their respective markets.
- Keep units and test measures intact: hp, kW, PS and Nm are not interchangeable labels, and 0–60 mph is not the same stated measure as 0–100 km/h.
- Separate a manufacturer-listed starting price or market-specific maximum retail price from a configured-car quote or dealer transaction price.
