Aston Martin’s published figures give it 835PS (824bhp), 1,000Nm of torque, a 0–62mph time of 3.3 seconds and a 214mph top speed. A convertible Volante joined the range in 2025; its claimed 0–62mph time is 3.4 seconds.
What is the 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish?
Aston Martin unveiled the current Vanquish in Venice on 2 September 2024 and sells it as a 2025 model. The company calls it the third generation of the Vanquish and the V12 flagship in its sports-car portfolio. The original V12 Vanquish launched in 2001, according to Aston Martin’s UK unveiling announcement.
It is a two-door, two-seat grand touring coupe with a front-mid-mounted engine and rear-wheel drive. Aston Martin says the body uses an extruded, bonded-aluminium structure. That layout and its V12 distinguish the car’s basic proposition; the official figures below are manufacturer specifications, not independent road-test results.
How much power does the new Vanquish have?
Aston Martin’s current US model page specifies an all-alloy, quad-overhead-cam, 48-valve, 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12. Maximum output is 835PS (824bhp) at 6,500rpm, while maximum torque is 1,000Nm from 2,500 to 5,000rpm.

Power goes through an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission to the rear wheels, with an electronic rear differential. Aston Martin describes torque-shaping modes and a Boost Reserve function that builds boost under partial throttle to help provide response when the driver requests more power. Those are the manufacturer’s descriptions of system operation, not independent measurements of response or efficiency.
How fast is the 2025 Vanquish?
Aston Martin quotes 0–62mph (0–100km/h) in 3.3 seconds and a maximum speed of 214mph (345km/h) for the coupe. These are manufacturer-published figures; they should not be read as independently verified test results.

What chassis and equipment does it have?
Aston Martin highlights an 80mm increase in wheelbase, Bilstein DTX dampers and 21-inch Pirelli P ZERO tyres. The company’s launch announcement presents the engineering as part of the new flagship’s specification. Executive Chairman Lawrence Stroll described the car as a “true halo model” at the September 2024 launch; that is Aston Martin’s positioning, not an independent assessment.
Is the Aston Martin Vanquish available as a convertible?
Yes. Aston Martin announced the Vanquish Volante on 25 March 2025 as the open-top counterpart to the coupe. Its retractable K-fold roof and associated chassis and structure changes make it a distinct body configuration.

The Volante’s power, torque, acceleration and top-speed figures come from Aston Martin’s 25 March 2025 announcement; coupe figures are from the current model page. The one-tenth-second difference in the quoted 0–62mph times is the distinction Aston Martin publishes. The figures do not establish how the two versions compare in ride, handling, luggage capacity or comfort.

At the September 2024 launch, Aston Martin said annual Vanquish production would be limited to fewer than 1,000 examples. The Volante announcement says the convertible is included in the combined annual limit. This is a cap per year, not a stated total production run, and it does not guarantee a particular buyer an allocation.

How much does the 2025 Vanquish cost, and when will it be delivered?
The reviewed official material does not establish a universal current price or delivery estimate. Pricing, inventory, allocation, timing and exact equipment depend on market and dealer. Aston Martin’s September 2024 launch release said first deliveries were scheduled for Q4, without specifying the year in the cited delivery statement; that should not be treated as a current delivery promise.
For a purchase decision, contact an authorized Aston Martin dealer in the relevant market to confirm the available specification, price, allocation and expected delivery timing. Aston Martin provides an official dealer finder and enquiry route.
What the published specifications do—and do not—tell you
The manufacturer’s pages establish the stated powertrain, performance figures, body formats and selected chassis features. They do not provide independent test results for real-world performance, reliability, fuel economy, emissions or comparative comfort. Aston Martin’s UK information notes that regulated emissions and consumption values are laboratory results intended for comparison and may not reflect real driving; the relevant numerical values are not included here.
