The 2024 Suzuki Hayabusa is the third-generation motorcycle’s 25th Anniversary Model in the U.S. announcement. Its defining changes are commemorative paint and trim rather than a new engine: Glass Blaze Orange and Glass Sparkle Black bodywork, a red V-shaped graphic, anniversary badges, gold-anodized details and a standard solo-seat cowling in U.S. launch equipment. Suzuki’s published specifications list a 1,340 cm³ inline-four, six-speed transmission, extensive electronic rider aids, a 264 kg curb weight and an 800 mm seat height.
What the 2024 Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Model is
Suzuki Motor USA announced the 2024 Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Model on June 30, 2023. It is part of the third Hayabusa generation, which Suzuki dates from 2021 onward; the first two generations are identified as 1999–2007 and 2008–2020.
The anniversary edition is a special appearance-and-equipment version of the current-generation Hayabusa. Suzuki’s materials describe the model and its features, but do not provide independent acceleration, fuel-economy, comfort or reliability testing.
Market differences matter
Paint, equipment and pricing are not necessarily worldwide specifications. Suzuki Global states that the solo-seat cowling is standard on the 25th Anniversary model except for Japanese specifications. Use the specification sheet and owner’s documentation for the country where the motorcycle will be registered.

What is distinctive about the anniversary edition?
The U.S. launch description identifies the following anniversary equipment and finish:
- Glass Blaze Orange and Glass Sparkle Black paint
- A V-shaped red graphic
- A 25th-anniversary tank emblem
- Raised SUZUKI tank logos
- Anniversary logos on the mufflers
- Gloss-black cowling trim
- Gold-anodized brake-rotor carriers and chain adjusters
- A Hayabusa Kanji logo on the chain plates
- A single-seat cowling supplied as standard in the U.S. launch material
Suzuki Global lists the same core visual details, describing the tank emblem, black cowl molding, V-shaped decal, thick Suzuki tank logo, Kanji chain logo, gold-anodized brake inner rotor and chain adjuster, and anniversary muffler logo.
Engine and transmission specifications
Suzuki lists a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, DOHC inline-four with 1,340 cm³ (81.8 cu. in.) displacement. The manufacturer’s published engine figures are:

Suzuki says the bi-directional quick shifter permits clutchless upshifts and downshifts. That is the manufacturer’s feature description, not a measured performance claim.
Electronic rider aids: Suzuki Intelligent Ride System
The Hayabusa’s electronics are grouped under Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.). Suzuki lists selectable engine-output and engine-braking characteristics, along with preset and user-defined riding modes.

- Combined braking
Traction control and ABS can help manage braking and available grip, but Suzuki cautions that they do not remove every loss-of-grip or stopping-distance risk. They supplement, rather than replace, rider judgment, suitable speed and road awareness.

Chassis, suspension, brakes and tires
Suzuki’s listed chassis hardware comprises a twin-spar aluminum frame, inverted telescopic front suspension and a link-type rear suspension. The feature description identifies adjustable KYB suspension.

Included on the U.S. anniversary launch model
The U.S. announcement includes the single-seat cowling as standard equipment, along with the anniversary-specific trim listed above. Suzuki Global’s exception is Japanese specifications, where the cowling status may differ.
Suzuki-listed optional accessories
Suzuki’s global model information lists a taller touring windscreen, tank bags, an alternate rider seat, heated grips, billet levers, axle sliders and other genuine accessories. These are optional items, not evidence that they were included with every 2024 motorcycle.

Price, launch timing and what is not established
Suzuki Motor USA’s June 30, 2023 announcement listed the 2024 25th Anniversary model’s MSRP as “TBA” and expected dealership arrival in late summer 2023. That is historical launch information, not a current price or inventory statement.
The available manufacturer material does not establish a current MSRP, dealer stock, used-market values, real-world fuel economy, measured acceleration, maintenance costs, reliability rates or independent owner consensus. Current buyers should obtain a market-specific dealer quote and confirm registration, equipment and accessory compatibility.
Manufacturer-reported Hayabusa history
Suzuki Motor USA reported that “over the last 25 years, nearly 300,000 units have been manufactured and sold around the world.” This is Suzuki’s cumulative figure from its 2023 release and is not presented as an independently audited count.

Suzuki’s corporate description says, “The Hayabusa, like its namesake peregrine falcon, continues to soar above all.” The statement is promotional manufacturer copy rather than a quote attributed to a named individual.
