What changed on the 2024 Hunter 350?
Royal Enfield added Dapper O (orange) and Dapper G (green) to the Hunter 350 Dapper series. The announcement gives an ex-showroom Chennai price of INR 1,69,656 for these colourways at the time; that is a city-specific ex-showroom figure, not an on-road total or a current price for every market. Royal Enfield’s January 4, 2024 announcement does not identify engine, chassis, suspension, braking, or equipment revisions alongside the new colours.
Dapper O and Dapper G
- Dapper O: orange.
- Dapper G: green.
The practical improvement is choice: buyers who wanted the Dapper series could select two additional colourways. The announcement does not establish that the colours came with different specifications or a separate mechanical package.
Was the 2024 Hunter 350 mechanically better?
There is no substantiated mechanical upgrade in the cited 2024 announcement. Nor is there independent 2024 ride-test evidence here to support claims that this model year improved comfort, handling, acceleration, braking feel, fuel economy, highway performance, reliability, or owner satisfaction. Those qualities should not be inferred from a paint update.

Royal Enfield’s release also said the Hunter had passed 2 lakh sales worldwide within a year of launch. That is the manufacturer’s reported milestone, not independent evidence that the 2024 motorcycle itself became better. The company’s announcement is the source for the claim.
Hunter 350 specifications: useful baseline, not a universal 2024 build sheet
Royal Enfield’s UK-market HNTR 350 technical sheet provides a useful reference for the model’s core figures. It is not proof that every 2024 bike in every country or variant has identical equipment; check the bike’s market and specification before relying on a figure for a purchase or service decision. The same UK sheet lists Tripper as accessory fitment subject to availability, rather than an unconditional standard feature. Equipment can differ by country and model year, so a listing or seller’s description should not substitute for checking the specific bike.
How it differs from later Hunter 350 updates
Do not attribute later equipment to the 2024 colour update. Royal Enfield Japan’s 2025-model page describes LED lighting, standard Tripper navigation, a USB Type-C port, an assist-and-slip clutch, and revised rear suspension and seat. Those are later, Japan-market details—not changes established for the 2024 announcement. Royal Enfield Japan’s 2025 HUNTER 350 page is specific to that market and model presentation.

Royal Enfield’s current India page describes the 2026 Hunter, including current LED, Type-C, and Tripper features. It can help explain what is offered now in India, but it does not establish the equipment of a 2024 motorcycle. If a seller describes a used Hunter as having later-model upgrades, confirm what is actually fitted rather than assuming that the bike received them from the factory. Match the motorcycle’s model year and market, then verify any claimed equipment with an authorized Royal Enfield dealer.
