How much did the 2024 GT-R NISMO cost?
Nissan North America’s 2024 U.S. pricing table listed the GT-R NISMO at $221,090 MSRP. Nissan’s pricing note says MSRP excludes applicable tax, title, license fees and destination charges, and that dealers set actual prices. The press kit lists destination and handling at $1,895. These are original model-year suggested prices, not a guaranteed transaction price or an estimate of today’s used-market value. Nissan’s 2024 GT-R press kit is the source for the pricing figures.
Nissan listed the NISMO Appearance Package for $4,950. It was an optional package, not the base NISMO price; Stealth Gray was a NISMO-exclusive paint color rather than a package component.
Is the GT-R NISMO still in production?
No, according to Nissan’s U.S. information. Nissan’s June 14, 2024 press-kit update said North American GT-R production would sunset in October 2024, and Nissan USA’s current GT-R NISMO page labels the model “No Longer In Production.” That establishes the status Nissan describes for the U.S. and North America; it does not establish worldwide production status or whether used cars are available in any particular location.

2024 GT-R NISMO engine and performance specifications
The NISMO uses a NISMO-tuned 3.8-liter DOHC, 24-valve twin-turbo V6. Nissan’s brochure rates it at 600 hp at 6,800 rpm and 481 lb-ft of torque from 3,600 to 5,800 rpm. Power goes through a dual-clutch six-speed transmission to Nissan’s ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system. The brochure also specifies mechanical limited-slip differentials at the front and rear. What distinguishes the NISMO?
Nissan’s equipment and press-kit descriptions identify a collection of chassis, brake and aerodynamic upgrades. These are manufacturer specifications and claims, not independent performance-test results.

Nissan’s brochure and product page describe the $4,950 NISMO Appearance Package as including a special-edition Takumi certification plate, black special-edition RAYS forged-alloy wheels and a clear-coated carbon-fiber hood. The package price is the original figure in Nissan’s U.S. model-year pricing table; it is not a current used-market valuation. Nissan also offered NISMO-exclusive Stealth Gray paint, which should not be confused with the package’s listed contents.
How does the NISMO compare with other 2024 GT-R grades?
The clearest manufacturer-published distinction is output: the Premium and T-spec were rated at 565 hp and 467 lb-ft, while the NISMO was rated at 600 hp and 481 lb-ft. The T-spec also shared some equipment or design elements derived from the NISMO, including carbon-ceramic brakes, gold-painted RAYS wheels and wider front fenders. NISMO was therefore not the only 2024 grade with any of those features.
