What is the 2024 Mercedes-Maybach S 680?

The apparent differences are not a contradiction to resolve by choosing one “correct” number: the sources cover differing markets, model contexts and test methods. Does “dying species” describe the V12 sedan?
It works as a description of a rare-seeming automotive proposition: a large luxury sedan with a combustion V12 at the top of its range.
