The 2024 Lamborghini Urus Performante is the sharper, firmer, non-hybrid V8 version of Lamborghini’s high-performance SUV. It pairs a twin-turbo V8 with all-wheel drive, a lowered steel-spring chassis and track-minded options; the payoff is stronger feedback and pace, while the compromise is less ride comfort. Its timing gives it added significance: Lamborghini introduced the plug-in-hybrid Urus SE in 2024, but the available evidence does not establish the Performante as the final combustion-only Urus in every market or configuration.
What makes the Performante different?
The Performante is not simply a cosmetic package for the Urus. Lamborghini replaces the regular Urus’s air springs with steel springs and a lower, firmer setup, then tunes the chassis toward sharper responses. The trade-off is clear: the car is more committed when driven hard, but less forgiving on ordinary roads.
Its equipment reinforces that intent. Lamborghini lists STRADA, SPORT and CORSA driving modes, plus a Torsen central differential. Carbon-fiber components include the hood and roof, and the car has a titanium exhaust. Lamborghini says the Performante is 47 kg lighter than its predecessor; that is the manufacturer’s comparison claim, not an independently verified measurement. It also claims 10 percent improved aerodynamic efficiency and 38 percent more downforce from the redesign.
Power, acceleration and top speed
The engine is a 3,996 cm³ twin-turbocharged V8. Lamborghini rates it at 666 CV (490 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 850 Nm of torque. US reviews commonly express its output as about 657 hp and 627 lb-ft. CV and SAE horsepower are different units, so 666 CV should not be read as 666 hp.

| Claim or measurement | Figure | Source and context |
|---|---|---|
| Power | 666 CV (490 kW) at 6,000 rpm | Lamborghini manufacturer specification |
| Torque | 850 Nm | Lamborghini manufacturer specification |
| 0–100 km/h | 3.3 seconds | Lamborghini manufacturer claim |
| 0–60 mph | 3.0 seconds | MotorTrend test result for a Performante; independent publication measurement |
| Top speed | 306 km/h | Lamborghini manufacturer claim |
The acceleration figures use different speed intervals and come from different kinds of evidence: Lamborghini’s metric claim is not the same as MotorTrend’s 0–60 mph test. They should not be treated as directly interchangeable results.
How it drives, and what the firmer setup costs
Car and Driver says the Performante’s revisions pay off on track with a snappier powertrain and more steering feedback, while also describing the ride as firmer. MotorTrend likewise characterizes it as the track-focused Urus and notes the everyday-drivability cost of that specification. The regular Urus S is the more comfort-oriented alternative for buyers who prioritize a less committed setup.

- Officially Licensed Replica – Authentic styling and branding from the original manufacturer
- Die-Cast Metal Construction – Durable metal body with detailed plastic components
- Highly Detailed Design – Realistic exterior styling and interior details
- Free-Rolling Wheels – Smooth movement for display or play
- Perfect for Collectors & Kids – Great gift for automotive fans
An optional Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tire can push the Performante further toward track use. That choice is worth weighing against normal road use: the value of the more track-minded specification depends on how often the vehicle will be driven hard, and a prospective buyer should confirm the exact tire and wheel fitment on the individual vehicle.
Fuel consumption: keep the test cycles separate
Lamborghini lists 16 mpg EPA combined on its model page. Its 2024 brochure gives combined consumption of 14.1 L/100 km and combined CO₂ emissions of 320 g/km under the WLTP cycle. These are regional figures from different test cycles, not directly comparable readings. Use the EPA figure for the US context and the WLTP figures where that cycle applies.

Why the Performante matters in the Urus lineup
The Performante represents a high-performance, non-hybrid V8 version of the Urus at a moment when Lamborghini began adding electrification to the range. The Urus SE, unveiled in 2024, combines a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with a 141-kW electric motor. Lamborghini gives the SE a combined system output of 800 CV and 950 Nm, a 25.9-kWh battery, and more than 60 km of electric-mode range; these are manufacturer figures.
That makes the Performante a timely tribute to the Urus’s combustion-powered character, not proof that it was the last full-ICE Urus ever produced. The available information establishes the SE’s arrival as the lineup’s plug-in-hybrid phase, but does not establish a universal final production date for combustion-only Performantes across markets and configurations.

Who should choose the Performante?
- Choose it for feedback and sharper responses: its firmer chassis tuning is aimed at a more engaging drive, particularly when pushed.
- Consider the Urus S instead for comfort: the Performante’s steel-spring setup is a deliberate compromise in everyday ride quality.
- Evaluate the tire specification against your use: the optional Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R is a track-oriented choice, so confirm the vehicle’s actual fitment before buying.
- Compare prices only on a like-for-like basis: market, date and configuration matter, and the cited sources do not establish a consistent comparable transaction-price dataset.
Verdict
The 2024 Urus Performante makes the most sense for a buyer who wants a more focused, communicative Urus and accepts a firmer ride in exchange. Its V8 power and track-oriented chassis give the non-hybrid model a distinct role as Lamborghini shifts the Urus lineup toward plug-in hybridization; the “last” label, however, should remain a tribute rather than a definitive production-history claim.
