Why a configured Hummer EV can cost more
A starting price is not the same as the total for a selected configuration. In one GMC-configured 2024 Pickup 2X example, the displayed total was $99,340: $96,550 standard vehicle price, $495 for Void Black paint, and $2,295 destination freight. This is a specific configuration snapshot, not a universal price for every 2X or a current offer. GMC’s Pickup configurator is the source for that example.

What the 2X and 3X trim labels tell you
Both the Pickup and SUV pages list features such as Super Cruise and electronic four-wheel steering with CrabWalk among 2X equipment; GMC identifies Watts to Freedom with 3X. The detailed build configuration determines included and selected equipment, so a trim name alone is not a complete feature list. GMC also describes DC fast-charging capability on its model pages.
How the 2024 Hummer EV compares with the Rivian R1T and Ford F-150 Lightning
A precise price ranking against the 2024 Rivian R1T or Ford F-150 Lightning cannot be established from consistent official figures here. Available search results did not establish matching model year, trim, date, or delivery-charge treatment for those rivals; the government vehicle-data extract also did not provide a complete comparable price table. It would therefore be misleading to claim the Hummer costs a specific amount more or less than either one.

For a fair comparison, use contemporaneous official prices and compare like with like: starting MSRP against starting MSRP, with destination charges treated consistently. Then compare configured prices separately, and match model year, trim, body style, battery and wheel configuration, and range-rating basis. Options, incentives, taxes, and delivery charges should be identified rather than blended into a single headline number.
