Both use the same 100.5-kWh total battery pack and dual electric drive modules, but differ in output, acceleration, chassis equipment and published range. Dodge’s early specification sheet is explicitly preliminary, so its figures should not be treated as interchangeable with the later range figures on Dodge’s FAQ.
2024 Charger Daytona specifications at a glance
Dodge’s preliminary technical sheet describes the two-door launch Daytona as a 400-volt battery-electric vehicle with all-wheel drive, five seats and a steel unibody. It lists the following figures; performance and range are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results. Dodge’s preliminary specification sheet states that its specifications are preliminary and subject to confirmation.
| Specification | R/T | Scat Pack |
|---|---|---|
| Drive and voltage | All-wheel drive; 400V | All-wheel drive; 400V |
| Motor arrangement | Front and rear permanent-magnet synchronous motors | Front and rear permanent-magnet synchronous motors |
| Motor hardware capability | 250 kW per drive module | 250 kW per drive module |
| Base horsepower | 456 hp | 630 hp |
| PowerShot maximum horsepower in preliminary sheet | 496 hp | 670 hp |
| Torque | 404 lb-ft | 627 lb-ft |
| Manufacturer-listed 0–60 mph | 4.7 seconds | 3.3 seconds |
| Manufacturer-listed quarter mile | 13.1 seconds | 11.5 seconds |
| Preliminary top speed | 137 mph | 134 mph |
| Battery energy | 100.5 kWh total; 93.9 kWh usable | 100.5 kWh total; 93.9 kWh usable |
| Preliminary EPA range | 300 miles | 240 miles |
| Curb weight | 5,838 lb | 5,838 lb |
Powertrain and performance: base output versus factory-upgraded output
Two drive modules, one all-wheel-drive system
The front and rear electric drive modules each have 250 kW hardware capability. The preliminary sheet lists an 11:1 open front gearbox and an 11:1 limited-slip rear gearbox. The hardware-capability figure is not the same as a trim’s combined horsepower rating: Dodge separately lists base output and a higher PowerShot maximum.
What the horsepower figures mean on the 2024 two-door
The preliminary sheet gives R/T output as 456 hp before PowerShot and 496 hp at maximum, with 404 lb-ft of torque. For Scat Pack it lists 630 hp base, 670 hp maximum with PowerShot and 627 lb-ft. The launch announcement says the 2024 two-door R/T and Scat Pack include their respective Direct Connection Stage 1 and Stage 2 upgrades from the factory, producing 496 hp and 670 hp. In other words, the preliminary sheet’s base figures and the launch announcement’s factory-equipped totals describe different output configurations, rather than a conflict in the quoted maximums. Stellantis’ August 2024 launch announcement provides the factory-upgrade context.

Acceleration and speed
Dodge’s preliminary estimates are 4.7 seconds from 0 to 60 mph and 13.1 seconds for the quarter mile in the R/T, versus 3.3 seconds and 11.5 seconds in the Scat Pack. The same document lists preliminary top speeds of 137 mph for R/T and 134 mph for Scat Pack. These are manufacturer figures, not independently measured road-test results.
Battery capacity and driving range
One battery, two published range sets
The preliminary Dodge sheet lists 100.5 kWh of total battery energy and 93.9 kWh usable, with preliminary range estimates of 300 miles for R/T and 240 miles for Scat Pack. Dodge’s current EV FAQ, accessed October 5, 2026, separately gives 308 miles for R/T and 241 miles for Scat Pack, or 240 miles with the Track Package. The FAQ figures are later published claims; they should not be silently substituted into the earlier preliminary table. Dodge’s EV FAQ is the source for its current range statements.

How to use the range figures when shopping
For a particular car, check its window sticker and EPA label for the exact model year and package. The Track Package distinction matters to the FAQ’s Scat Pack range figure, while the preliminary sheet carries its own earlier estimates. Neither source establishes the range an individual driver will achieve on a given trip.
Charging specifications and estimated times
AC charging at home
The preliminary sheet lists an 11 kW onboard Level 2 AC charger. Its estimated time for the 5–80% charge window is 6.8 hours; for 20–80%, it is 5.4 hours. Dodge’s current FAQ gives a broader home Level II estimate of 7–8 hours to reach 80%. These are not identical charge windows or necessarily identical assumptions, so use the vehicle-specific documentation and your charging equipment details when estimating a session.

DC fast charging
Dodge lists a peak DC charge rate of 183 kW when connected to a 350 kW / 500A EVSE. Its preliminary estimates differ by station rating and state-of-charge window:
| Charging setup in preliminary Dodge sheet | 5–80% estimate | 20–80% estimate |
|---|---|---|
| Level 2 AC, 11 kW onboard charger | 6.8 hours | 5.4 hours |
| DC fast charger, 175 kW EVSE | 52.4 minutes | 41.9 minutes |
| DC fast charger, 350 kW EVSE | 32.5 minutes | 27.6 minutes |
Dodge’s FAQ separately says a 350 kW DC fast-charging station can offer an 80% charge in 30 minutes. The station’s rated power is not a promise that the car will draw that power throughout a session: actual charging depends on the vehicle’s charge curve, battery state and temperature, and equipment and site conditions. The preliminary sheet specifies liquid battery heating and cooling with a chiller.

| Dimension or capacity | R/T | Scat Pack |
|---|---|---|
| Overall length | 206.6 in | 206.5 in |
| Overall height | 58.9 in | 59.0 in |
| Wheelbase | 121.0 in | 121.0 in |

Suspension, brakes and wheels
Suspension differences
Both trims use multi-link front suspension and integral-link rear suspension. R/T uses touring monotube shocks; Scat Pack uses improved-control monotube shocks. The Scat Pack Track Package adds dual-valve adaptive dampers, according to the preliminary specification and the launch announcement.
Scat Pack launch equipment
The August 2024 announcement says the two-door Scat Pack included the Track Package, Brembo fixed front and rear brakes, staggered 20-inch wheels and adaptive damping. Its listed drive modes include Track, Drag and Custom. Dodge also announced Donut, Drift, Launch Control and Line Lock functions; these are performance features intended for appropriate closed-course use, not public-road stunts. Brake dimensions vary by configuration in the preliminary tables, including two-piece 410 mm front rotors for the Track Package variant.
Technology and other announced equipment
Dodge’s launch announcement cites a hidden hatch, front R-Wing pass-through, PowerShot, adjustable regenerative braking, a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a nine-speaker Alpine audio system. The announcement includes both standard and optional equipment, so confirm what is fitted to the particular trim and package rather than assuming every item is standard.
Warranty and model-year context
Dodge’s current EV FAQ states that the Daytona battery has a limited warranty of 8 years or 100,000 miles. Warranty terms and maintenance schedules can depend on market and VIN; consult the warranty booklet and maintenance schedule for the specific vehicle. The 2024 launch announcement listed U.S. starting MSRPs of $59,595 for R/T and $73,190 for Scat Pack, each excluding $1,995 destination, and a choice of an at-home Level 2 charging station or $600 in Free2move Charge credits. Those were dated 2024 launch terms, not current prices or a claim that the offer remains available.
