Both use a 278 cc engine rated at 23.8 hp and 19.7 ft-lb. Those are historical U.S. model-year prices, not current used-market values.
2023 Vespa GTS 300 performance
Vespa’s U.S. 2023 GTS 300 HPE specification sheet describes a single-cylinder, four-stroke i-Get engine with 278 cc displacement. Its published output is 23.8 hp at 8,250 rpm and 19.7 ft-lb of torque at 5,250 rpm. The 2023 GTS 300 Super hangtag lists the same displacement, horsepower, and torque figures. These are manufacturer specifications, not results from an independent road test.
Vespa lists fuel consumption at 73.38 mpg on the WMTC cycle and CO2 emissions compliance at 74 g/km. The mpg figure is a cycle result published by the manufacturer; it should not be read as a real-world fuel-economy guarantee.
Chassis and equipment
The U.S. HPE specification sheet lists an automatic CVT transmission, ABS and ASR, and 220 mm disc brakes at both wheels. The scooter has a steel body with welded reinforcements, tubeless 110/70-12 front and 130/70-12 rear tires, and a 31.1-inch seat height. Vespa also lists a 2.2-gallon fuel capacity, a 54.1-inch wheelbase, and overall dimensions of 76.7 inches long by 29.7 inches wide.

The U.S. figures are original model-year MSRPs, not current dealer quotes or used-scooter valuations. The Super’s listed MSRP was $200 higher than the HPE’s, but that difference alone does not establish the full equipment distinction between trims. German pricing is for a different market and includes stated incidental costs, so it is not directly comparable with the U.S. MSRP.
Photos and colors
Vespa’s official U.S. hangtags include images of the 2023 models and list trim-specific color references. The HPE hangtag shows Nero Convinto and Verde Amabile; the Super hangtag shows Nero Lucido, Bianco Innocenza, and Rosso Passione. The images and colors document the manufacturer’s U.S. model-year presentation; they do not establish that every color was available at every dealer.

The German 2023 price list depicts the GTS 300 in green, black, and beige. Those images document the German-market price-list material, not U.S. color availability. Consult the official Vespa U.S. site for current range information; the underlying manufacturer hangtags are the appropriate source for the specific 2023 trim images and specifications.

The 2023 figures above refer to the GTS 300 generation. Vespa’s U.S. current range page, accessed October 7, 2026, lists 310 models with prices from $7,999 to $8,699. That is current-range information, not a 2023 GTS 300 price or specification, and the model generations should not be conflated.
