That is the manufacturer’s original suggested price—not a current used-car value or an out-the-door price. The standard SRT Hellcat is rated at 717 bhp; Redeye, Super Stock and Jailbreak configurations have different output and equipment.
2023 Challenger SRT Hellcat pricing: what the $70,035 covered
Stellantis announced a U.S. MSRP of $70,035 for the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Jailbreak. The Widebody was also available. The quoted MSRP excluded $1,595 for destination and fees. These are figures from Stellantis North America’s 2022 announcement, not a quote for a particular car or its total purchase cost. Stellantis’ announcement separately listed the Hellcat Redeye Jailbreak at $78,640 and Super Stock at $86,645; neither figure is the standard Hellcat’s price.
MSRP is a manufacturer’s suggested retail price. A dealer’s asking price, a completed sale price and an out-the-door total are different figures. Used-car values in 2026 depend on the car’s mileage, condition, equipment, location and market timing; no current transaction range is established here. Check listings and recent comparable sales for the specific car you are considering.
Hellcat, Redeye, Jailbreak and Super Stock specifications
The name “Hellcat” can refer to multiple 2023 configurations. The standard SRT Hellcat is not the same output specification as the Redeye or Super Stock, and the Jailbreak designation needs to be read alongside the car’s exact build.

The output and transmission figures for the Hellcat, Redeye and Super Stock come from the 2023 Challenger technical specifications. Dodge’s 2023 Challenger performance page associates the 807-hp setup with SRT Jailbreak as well as Super Stock. Do not assume every car called a Hellcat has 807 hp: the standard SRT Hellcat is rated at 717 bhp.
Fuel economy and fuel requirement
The standard SRT Hellcat requires premium 91-octane fuel. The official technical sheet lists these EPA fuel-economy ratings for the Hellcat, with the body and transmission configuration specified:

These are configuration-specific ratings in the official 2023 specification sheet, not a single rating that applies to every Hellcat.
Widebody, wheels and brakes
Dodge describes Widebody models as having wider fenders and 20-by-11-inch wheels fitted with Pirelli P Zero tires. Its performance page lists 15.4-inch Brembo two-piece rotors and six-piston calipers as standard on SRT models. SRT Power Chiller is listed as standard on SRT Jailbreak and Hellcat Redeye.

Equipment can vary with trim and build. For a particular used car, verify its VIN-specific equipment or build sheet rather than relying on a listing’s generic “Hellcat” label or a photo.
Last Call and the 2023 model-year context
Stellantis described the 2023 Challenger and Charger as the end of the cars in their current forms. It said every 2023 Challenger and Charger received a commemorative Last Call underhood plaque. The announcement also introduced a Horsepower Locator to help shoppers search dealer allocations. Tim Kuniskis, then Dodge brand chief executive officer at Stellantis, said: “We’re making the process as transparent as possible, giving enthusiasts the power to search for each 2023 model and trim level allocated to each dealer.” The statement appeared in Stellantis North America’s October 27, 2022 announcement.

Photos: identify the trim before labeling it
Dodge’s 2023 Challenger performance page includes manufacturer imagery and information about Widebody equipment. A photo should be labeled as Redeye, Jailbreak or Super Stock only when the image or an accompanying manufacturer source confirms that trim. A generic Challenger Hellcat image does not establish a specific variant.
