How much did the 2022 Honda CBR1000RR cost new?
American Honda’s January 11, 2022 U.S. announcement listed these original MSRPs:

Honda’s curb weights include required fluids and a full tank. The announcement does not specify dealer fees, taxes, or registration. The MSRP is a historical new-bike price, not a current used-market estimate; check local listings and account for mileage, condition, title status, and modifications when evaluating a used example. What is the difference between the standard and ABS versions?
Honda offered the 2022 CBR1000RR in two braking configurations: the standard version and the CBR1000RR ABS. The ABS model’s original U.S. MSRP was $300 higher and its published curb weight was 2 lb greater. Both share the same core engine and principal equipment described below. The available source does not detail differences in ABS operation or other trim-specific components.

Engine, equipment and performance
The CBR1000RR is powered by a 999 cc liquid-cooled inline-four with double overhead camshafts, four valves per cylinder, 13.0:1 compression, and 48 mm throttle bodies. It uses a six-speed transmission and chain final drive. Honda’s feature release describes valve lift and timing optimized for high engine speeds, with a 13,000-rpm peak engine speed; it does not provide a horsepower or torque figure in the cited material.
Honda lists throttle-by-wire, Honda Selectable Torque Control, wheelie control, selectable engine-braking adjustment, and a quick shifter for clutch- and throttle-free upshifts and downshifts. These are manufacturer-published features, not independent test results. Honda positions this model for street, canyon, and track-day riding, and describes the regular CBR1000RR as its value-focused option alongside the more track-focused CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP. Honda’s specifications identify a 43 mm fork; a later model-spec download describes adjustable 43 mm Big Piston Fork suspension. Check the correct model-year documentation and market variant for detailed adjustment settings. The figures here are for the U.S. model; Honda notes California versions may differ slightly because of emissions equipment.
