The 2022 Aprilia RS 660 is a 659 cc middleweight sportbike. Aprilia’s 2022 RS 660 Limited Edition technical sheet lists 100 hp at 10,500 rpm and 67 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm; those are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results. The best-supported period price here is the U.K. recommended retail price: £10,495 for the standard RS 660 and £12,345 for the Factory. A verified 2022 U.S. MSRP is not established by the available official sources.
2022 Aprilia RS 660 performance and specifications
Aprilia’s 2022 RS 660 LE technical sheet describes a forward-facing, liquid-cooled, DOHC parallel twin with 659 cc displacement. It lists 100 hp (73.5 kW) at 10,500 rpm and 67 Nm at 8,500 rpm. The figures are manufacturer specifications for the LE document, not independent measurements of a standard 2022 bike.

Aprilia’s general RS 660 technical sheet also lists 659 cc, 100 hp and 67 Nm, but it is not explicitly model-year-specific. For equipment on an individual used bike, check the bike’s market, trim and fitted options rather than assuming every feature on the LE sheet applies to every standard model.
Piaggio Group describes APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control) as including traction control, wheelie control, engine-brake adjustment, engine mapping and cruise control. Its product information also notes an accessory software option for quickshifting with an inverted gearbox. Verify the specific bike’s market and configuration before treating every APRC function or option as standard equipment.

Top speed and acceleration
The official sources cited here do not establish an independently measured 2022 standard-model top speed or acceleration time. Aprilia’s current U.S. page discusses a later RS 660, including 105 hp and a Factory top-speed claim; those later-generation details do not establish 2022 standard-bike performance.

These are U.K. prices, not U.S. MSRP. The original U.S. 2022 MSRP could not be verified from the official sources cited here. Aprilia’s current U.S. RS 660 page lists $11,849 for the RS 660 and $14,149 for the Factory, but those are current prices accompanying later-generation material—not confirmed 2022 prices. Used-bike asking prices are separate, time-sensitive market figures and are not represented by either list above.
Standard, Limited Edition and Extrema: what differs?
These names refer to distinct versions or announcements, not interchangeable labels for every 2022 RS 660. The Limited Edition’s special graphics and production limit should not be mistaken for standard-bike equipment; the Extrema was announced later in 2022 with its own equipment changes.

Aprilia’s product material describes the RS 660 design language as including a three-element full-LED headlight and racing-inspired winglets. Those details help orient a photo, but a current product-page image may show later styling. Use a photo as evidence of a 2022 configuration only when its caption or source identifies the model year, market, color and version.

For the Limited Edition, Piaggio Group specifies “Stars and Stripes” graphics; that livery is a version identifier, not a feature shared by all RS 660s. For the Extrema, the announced carbon components, street-legal SC-Project exhaust and single-seat tail fairing are the relevant visual clues. A photograph alone may not establish the motorcycle’s model year or market specification.
Official reference pages: Aprilia U.K.’s 2022 RS 660 page, Piaggio Group’s RS 660 product information, and the current Aprilia U.S. RS 660 page. Confirm the image’s version and date before using a current-page photo to represent a 2022 bike.
