The Koenigsegg Jesko is offered in two distinct configurations: the track-focused Jesko Attack and the streamlined Jesko Absolut, designed with high speed in mind. Although this article uses “2020” as its title identifier, the Jesko debuted at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show; Koenigsegg unveiled the Absolut in 2020. Both use a twin-turbo 5.0-liter V8 and a nine-speed Light Speed Transmission, with manufacturer-rated output of up to 1,600 hp on E85.
What is the difference between the Jesko Attack and Absolut?
The Attack prioritizes track use, while the Absolut trades the Attack’s track-focused aerodynamic approach for a lower-drag shape intended for high-speed running. Koenigsegg lists a drag coefficient of 0.278 Cd for the Absolut; it does not publish an Attack drag coefficient on the retrieved specification page.
The Absolut’s low-drag design is not evidence of a verified top-speed record. Koenigsegg describes the car’s high-speed aim, but the cited manufacturer material does not document a confirmed Absolut top-speed run. In a March 3, 2020 press release, founder and CEO Christian von Koenigsegg described it as “determined to reach unheard-of speed in record-setting pace”—an expression of intent, not a measured result.
Koenigsegg Jesko specifications
The following are figures published by Koenigsegg on its Attack and Absolut pages, accessed October 7, 2026. They are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements.

What records has the Jesko set?
Koenigsegg’s history page says the Jesko Attack set a Laguna Seca homologated production-car lap record on August 18, 2024. The cited page does not give a lap time. That dated Attack milestone should not be confused with a verified top-speed record for the Absolut, which the cited pages do not establish.
