The 2020 G-Power G5M Hurricane RS is a modified F90-generation BMW M5 with a reported 840 PS and 1,050 Nm. A contemporary report also attributes a 2.5-second 0–100 km/h time and a 350 km/h top speed to the car; these are reported figures, not independently verified test results.
What is the G-Power M5 Hurricane RS?
The G5M Hurricane RS is G-Power’s high-performance modification of the F90 BMW M5, the sedan’s sixth-generation model. Automotive coverage in April 2020 described an RS build powered by the M5’s 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8, upgraded with turbocharger and software work and fitted with a titanium exhaust. AUTO BILD’s 2020 report provides the RS specifications and performance claims.
How fast is the Hurricane RS?

| Torque | 1,050 Nm | Reported for the G5M Hurricane RS by AUTO BILD in 2020. |

What equipment and styling were reported?
Coverage of the featured RS build describes turbocharger and software upgrades alongside a titanium exhaust. A separate account of the car shows forged 21-inch wheels with Michelin tires, a carbon-fiber hood and an orange wrap. These are details of the reported build, not evidence that every Hurricane RS customer car received the same parts. Motor1’s account of the featured car covers its appearance and equipment.

Hurricane RS vs. Hurricane RR: what is the difference?
The RS and RR are distinct G-Power versions, so their output figures should not be combined. G-Power USA’s article reports 900 PS and 1,050 Nm for the F90-based G5M Hurricane RR, not the 2020 Hurricane RS. G-Power USA’s RR article provides that later version’s figures.
| Version | Reported power | Reported torque | Source context |
|---|---|---|---|
| G5M Hurricane RS | 840 PS | 1,050 Nm | AUTO BILD, 2020 |
| G5M Hurricane RR | 900 PS | 1,050 Nm | G-Power USA article surfaced as published about 2024 |
What is not established about buying or fitting an RS?
The available reports do not establish current RS package pricing or availability, exact fitment for all F90 M5s, warranty coverage, or road legality. G-Power’s current wheel catalog shows Hurricane forged-wheel products, including an RR example, but does not confirm exact fitment for a 2020 Hurricane RS. Anyone considering a conversion or parts purchase should confirm the current specification and suitability directly with G-Power or the relevant supplier.
