Jaguar’s 19 March 2019 UK-market newsroom release also describes the SVR as a 5.0-liter, 550PS supercharged V8. That is a separate market and unit specification; it is not interchangeable with the U.S. brochure’s 550 hp figure. Jaguar also says local range and engine availability vary by market. What trim was the SVR?
The SVR was a high-performance F-Pace derivative, rather than a trim label that defines the equipment on every individual car. In Cars.com’s U.S.-market list, it appears as the SVR AWD, alongside 12 other 2019 F-Pace variants. Jaguar announced the 300 SPORT and Chequered Flag special editions in March 2019 as separate additions to the F-Pace range. They should not be treated as SVR equipment or assumed to have been available in every market. Jaguar’s release gives the market-availability qualification.
