The 2019 Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber Sport pairs a low, compact riding position with an 853 cc air-cooled V-twin and adjustable Öhlins rear shocks. Despite its single-seat look, the V9 Bobber was supplied with removable passenger seating and footpegs; check the bike itself to confirm those parts are still fitted.
What makes the 2019 V9 Bobber Sport different?
The Sport trim’s defining changes are its lowered single-seat saddle, low drag bar with shorter risers, and Öhlins shocks with spring-preload and hydraulic rebound and compression adjustment. Moto Guzzi said the saddle and handlebar position create a more pronounced low, compact riding posture. It also fitted a street-legal matte-black slip-on exhaust. That trim description should not be confused with the broader MY2019 V9 Bobber announcement, which covers the model’s passenger equipment and general styling. Moto Guzzi described the V9 Bobber as having an “850 cc” engine in that release; the Sport technical sheet specifies 853 cc, a more exact displacement figure.

Can the V9 Bobber Sport carry a passenger?
Yes, the MY2019 V9 Bobber was approved to carry a passenger, and Moto Guzzi said the passenger section and footpegs came as standard equipment even though the bike has a single-seat appearance. Both can be removed to give it a one-seat setup. That description is in the Moto Guzzi MY2019 release; on a used example, inspect for the removable seat section and footpegs rather than assuming they remain with the motorcycle.
