2015 Suzuki DR200S specifications
Suzuki’s 2015 specification sheet describes the DR200S as a modest-displacement dual-sport. The figures below are manufacturer-published specifications, not independent test measurements. How tall and heavy is the DR200S?
Suzuki publishes a seat height of 845 mm (33.3 inches) and curb weight of 126 kg (278 pounds). These numbers help frame reach and handling, but they cannot determine whether the bike will feel manageable for a particular rider. If you are considering a used example, sit on that motorcycle and assess its fit and condition rather than relying on the figures alone.

What tire sizes does a 2015 DR200S use?
The manual specifies a 70/100-21M/C 44P tube-type front tire and a 100/90-18M/C 56P tube-type rear tire. It calls for tire-condition and pressure checks before each ride and specifies the tire size and type to use. Follow the correct market manual and the motorcycle’s configuration for pressure and load guidance; the sizes alone do not establish those values.
Fuel capacity and engine oil quantity
The DR200S owner’s manual specifies 12.5 L (3.3 US gallons or 2.7 Imperial gallons) of fuel, including a 2.5 L reserve. US and Imperial gallons are different units, so do not treat the two gallon figures as interchangeable. Confirm the applicable manual for an individual motorcycle.

For engine oil, the manual lists 850 ml when the filter is not replaced and 950 ml when it is replaced. These are distinct service quantities: use the procedure and checking instructions in the owner’s manual rather than treating either number as a universal fill amount for every service situation.
Maintenance and service guidance
Suzuki’s owner’s manual contains the scheduled maintenance chart and procedures for the engine oil, air cleaner, carburetor, drive chain, brakes, tires, battery and other systems. Use the schedule for the relevant market and motorcycle; this article does not substitute a generalized service interval for the manufacturer’s instructions.

- Check tire condition and pressure before each ride, using the manual’s specified tire size and type.
- After brake-system repairs, follow the manual’s instructions to restore lever or pedal feel. When replacing front brake pads, replace both pads together.
- The rear brake uses shoes; follow the manual’s inspection limits and adjustment procedure.
- Use the manual for service steps and specifications. If a repair is outside your experience, have a qualified mechanic handle it.
These are safety-critical systems. The manual’s procedures and limits—not a generic maintenance checklist—should guide inspection and repair.
Finding parts for a used DR200S

Before ordering, check the motorcycle’s VIN or model code, the relevant market configuration and the replacement part number. Treat retailer catalog fitment as a starting point, not a replacement for confirming the actual bike and part. For oil-filter service, match the filter to the motorcycle and follow the manual’s procedure and oil quantity.
